3. From your forum directory, bring up the file abouttoday.php.

-What do I do here? Sorry, I just don't get it :o .

Also, how do you specify what forum you want the threads, created by the feed, to go to?

In your web browser, go to http://www.your.site/forum/abouttoday.php

For each feed you create (admincp-About Today - RSS Feeds), type in the forumid in "Allow option to create forum discussion?"

Yes, it is. If you have 3.6.x and your goal is to merely have threads created off of RSS feeds, you don't really need this product.

If you want to maintain your own "Today in History/Sports/Jokes/etc" database this is your hack. Also, if you want a page that summarizes all the current feeds without adding threads this is your hack. Or, if you want to be able to display selected feeds on any page on your site, this is your hack!

this is a very good hack but the char problem makes it unusable here is a demo how it displays the turkish chars

If you do the feed in the RSS thread creator that comes with vb 3.6.x, does it look correct in the created thread?
