How to delete all the links into sql of EVO ?

After I upgraded from 0.5 to 1.0, the chat box doesn't load on my vBulletin 3.7.3 Patch Level 1 version message boards. What gives?

You have to follow the uninstall instructions of the readme file correctly :)

All the links into sql will thus be removed.

Check that you have correctly uploaded all the files and that you haven't any chatbox templates modified.

Nearly because I noticed a little bug : after the installation, I couldn't access to my forum. After many search, I find the source of the trouble : with Firefox (and Opera also I think), people who belong to an additional group can not access to the main page of the forums. Indeed, there is this alert :

[EDIT] I have found a second bug : the unselection of checkbox to not display the choice of the font, the color and the size and the buttons for put the text on bold, italic and underline is ineffetive.

I installed the non-evo version and had loads of white page problems. Does this version cause problems with vbadvanced?

Re-uploaded the files but has made no difference, still page not found.

Check the addon at the bottom of the first post. The is a mod which allows you to use the chatbox with vBAdvanced. Not sure if this is what you are after.

Hi, i've installed MGC ChatBox Evo on vBulletin 3.7.3 and past some chat messages when i refresh the page my chatbox area says "Loading... " and nothing else.
All users have the same problem in my forum.
Also when i intent to write a message i receive the next error:

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."

That has nothing to do with it. You have to remove all the uploaded files. This error is because you still have the bitfield file in /includes/xml folder and consequently still have the mgc_chatbox options field in your groups settings. Remove that file and everything will be fine. If you have one of the lattest versions of VB the bitfield rebuild will be auto, if not you will have to do it your self.

I have never experienced such problem.
Does your server has a specific/strange configuration ?

I am not sure that you did use the good checkboxes. There is one group to avoid users to select them as default parameters in their usercp and the other to just allow the bbcodes. I think you misunderstood the text and did the contrary.

Are you using the latest version of the chatbox ? Earlier version of the chatbox aren't compatible with the 3.7 due to token late introduction in the vBulletin code.

Otherwise you shouldn't get that error message as it's now corrected since 0.3.0 I think.

Problem is I don't have internet explorer => I am a Mac user.

But I think I have found what might have been causing the problem. Do you have the show whos online in the chatbox option active on your forum ?

By editing templates as it's using your default forum bordering configuraiton.

Sorry for the delay. No i do not have that option active. And you don't need IE exclusively, FF and Opera have the same problem :D

No, with one previous version. I'm not using the latest one as it has some issues that may be quite annoying at times for the users.

I don't think the chatbox is causing that at all.

This virus is a downloader trojan inside a javascript file. But there ain't such thing in my mod... I think you have been infected by something else.

Tachy goes to Conventry = the built in admin "Global Ignore" feature on vbulletin. It's featured in the Vbulletin Options -> User Banning Options

Although, I think a /slash command for a "global ignore" in the chatbox would be just as useful and accomplish the same thing!

Perhaps it's a problem of compatibility between thickbox and the chatbox javascript code.

To do a global ignore users could hide the chatbox, isn't that enough ?

I have using vBulletin 3.7.3 PL1 and MGC ChatBox Evo 1.0.0 (latest)
The problem is strange, because i was uninstalled the product, remove all files and rebuild the template, but when i reinstall step by step again the hack still with the problem :(

The security token problem no matter because i think the page not finish to load completely (maybe an infinite loop?) and i think that is part of the main problem "Loading..."

Note: the hack worked for a few hours at the first install.

How the hell does the commands work? I tried using the ban command and it just keeps saying invalid syntax. Is it /ban username or /ban : username ?? How is it supposed to be typed in?

I have tested on your forum. The problem comes from the language (spanish one).

Seems like it is bugged, you shouldn't have use it by the way, it's an old one...

Your chatbox works in english language. You should remove the chatbox and install it again then translate the chatbox from scratch.

/ban on uname the_username

Check the help in the chatbox (? icon).

For example, if you were banning me, you would type:
