The first tab with all my forums in it. Unless I unactivate them, they are all displayed on the forumhome's main tab.

Um. OK. I have no experience with the first one. I am guessing that don't use links or something. Bob will have to answer this.

Well I hope he can do it soon. Basically I wish to not display any forums that are in other tabs. Like if baseball is on one tab, I don't want it to display on the main tab.

You don't HAVE to use the $forumbits variable in the first tab.. create a specific variable for the first tab, just like you do for all the rest fo the tabs.. That's only in the EXAMPLE for those that want to have all the forums within a single tab...

Thanks a lot dude! Everything looks great. Although I can't wait until the product. I hope you add in a feature to allow the members to go to their UserCP to choose the default tab to be selected on load. That would be awesome.

I will add it to our internal tracker, but I won't guarantee it for 2.0.0, but I know admin set defaults are already coded into v2.

Hi all,

Was there a reply to being able to display a subforum under a tab - that is, a forum that is not a category, but has threads/posts? I am trying to bring forward two or three of our heaviest hit forums up under a tab...

All I get is the header - no threads under it. I posted this before, and have been watching the thread, but I see no updates on that one...

Any advice is appreciated.

What are your subforums currently set at? (to display) maybe you need to increase that number by one.. ie, if its set to 0, set to 1

Hi
I have installed the non-Ajax version of this mod due to:
1. The current Ajax version will never go out of Beta as version 2 is being developed
2. Having tried both now I feel the Ajax version is slower then the non-ajax version
3. I don't like the way the forums drop and the getting forums line and graphic is displayed

So, I have the non ajax version working great, very fast, displaying multiple categories on each page - I have a generic category that is displayed in all tabs and a tab specific category.

A couple of things though:
1. The tabs don't display a focus when manually selected - the first tab always displays the having the focus - how can I fix this?
2. I need about 12 tabs - this is going to make the Forum Home template extremely large - is there a more efficient way?
3. I use the "How To Put A Space Between Each Forum Category" tip at vBulletin (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=156783) and unfortunately I no longer have that space between the categories any more - any suggestions?
4. As I have a generic category that contains about 10 forums displayed on each tabbed page can anyone suggest how I can have the tabs below that generic category and when each tab is selected the screen doesn't go to the top of the page?
