How to get this to be worked ?

hi this is an excellent bit of kit but i have 1 problem if anyone can help?

all the urls i put in work fine except youtube it doubles up and shows the vidio twice?

liveling, google, yahoo they all show just once but youtube shows teice one on top of the other. seems like double coding or somthing and i have no idea how to fix it lol.

I know i asked earlier and found out this week that the geek has some personal stuff going on.
So i have a question for anyone that has had any luck with the regex stuff.

I have been working on alot of different media tags and i have a problem trying to grab the actual media player.

This code is for break.com, and i realize that it is a hard one to work with, but i am trying to see if we can get some type of tutorial going for those that would like to learn to work with this awesome mod.

Here is what i have done with break:

The HTML to use. Note the backreference! and if you go to your site with the above, and place in any break url, you will get the player and it will only play: MzYyNjc4

My confusion comes by the way of the $p1 , where, how and why do you use this?

It doesn't seem to matter what video program i work with, i can get the regex to work enough to show a player, but once i try inserting the $p1, i get nothing. What exactly is need to force the embed player to work with the $p1, with ANY of the url's we have used lately?

here is another one i was working on, but yet, i can't figure out where to put the $p1. The way it is set right now, it will play the video as i have it, but it will not let me put in a different video.

The \w should call numbers and letters, right? and the / should cover and /'s in the address?

So i should be able to put the $p1 after the u=, but it doesn't work........I am really confused on the regex to player conversion.......am i just looking at the address bar of the site, and the embed code, or is it just the embed code we go after?

The above code works, but again, you can't change video. It will only play the 9265062231561576

john_robot, ClipShare requires the Extract Info of AME and at this point no one knows how to get it to work, so support for that site cannot be added until The Geek (author of hack) comes back and explains it.

carleboy, sounds like you have 2 YouTube RegExs installed on your site. Try this: Go to AdminCP > AME CP > Display > Look to see if you have 2 "You Tube" installed, if so then > Select [Delete] for one of them > Confirm Deletion by clicking "Yes" on the next screen and you're done! This should fix your problem ...

hotwheels, please read This Tutorial on RegExs it will help you understand them. You are getting some stuff confused from what I can see on your posts. In addition, Break.com requires the use of the Extract Info Feature of AME, which at the moment no one knows how it works except The Geek. You will not be able to get Break.com to work at all until he explains it when he gets back.

hi it wasnt that but you did make me see the problem lol i had an old mod instaled for just youtube so they were both woring together lol sorry and thanks for the help.

Thanks for the reply Dannyloski and i did read over the basic tutorial. It doesn't cover the use of the $p1 at all. I have gone over that tutorial till i was blue in the face. That's why i was hoping to get other member's together that have learned this set up, so that we could build a large AME database......

hotwheels, I had a almost an entire page written with help on how the $p1 feature works and the electricity went out, I'm not gonna rewrite it again right at this moment, so when I get a chance I'll rewrite it. Sorry, but I got some other stuff I need to do. I suggest you take a look at some current RegEx you got on your site and compare the RegExs to the Embed Code, so what the $p1 does from what you can see, it's self explanatory. It basically contains the unique key or something for each video and with the RegEx you create you are able to extract it and use it for each video on your embed code.
