I am having the same problem of the drop-downs and drag and drop not working. I did disable the forum header and footer and they do work now. So what's next? Is there some code missing in the forum head template?

Thanks! :)

I've installed the mod, and when I get to the end of the install/index.php setup, I just get to a white page with an error message on it:

I've done a search on this forum, and as far as I know, the previous user who had this problem hasn't been sorted out yet :(

I've tried to go to /z/zadmin.php but I get the same message on this page.

When you went through the installer, the last step was to click a button to "turn it on". Did you do that? I ask because a few people have experienced this problem and I'm trying to figure out why. Anyway...

Execute this query via the vbulletin admincp:

Code:

REPLACE INTO zp_settings VALUES ('active', 1)
If you need help doing that, please let me know.

Sorry for the trouble!

We're starting to get this issue localized now. Is your navigation in your forum header template?

Yes and no. I have two other templates called by the variables $navbar2 and $navbar3. $navbar3 has most of the navigation. So it looks like this:

$navbar2
(header info)
$navbar3

So.... I guess that's a "yes".

I installed Zoints on my Vbulletin 3.6.4 board. I think it would be nice to have a page with a list of the profiles with new entries on the blog and another page with a random list of profiles.

Is there a way to have this page on my forum?
Thank you

I like it but I kind of think it takes away your visitors and members from my forum while doing a search in communities. Is their a link back to my forum for my members? Did I miss it?

This has a couple really neat ideas, but the appearance is a dealbreaker for me.

I could deal with the branding, and the search taking some users away from my site, but doing it with an interface so markedly different from the rest of my site tips the balance. Poking around, I've seen mention of a branding-free version, but it seems pretty expensive compared to the price of vbulletin itself.

The emphasis on user profile data and not on the blog entries themselves is also a stumbling block for me. My main interest is a robust, searchable journalling system. (This also means I probably don't represent the target audience of this mod.)

Having said that, Dchapman, you're to be commended for your attention and responsiveness in dealing with users' needs. You set a really good example. Additionally, it's a lot easier to let a company's brand show up on my site, and let my users be taken off to other sites through that company's portal, when that company takes pains to present themselves as yours has.

Back to vBJournals for me, probably, but I'll keep an eye out for where this project heads in the future.

With custom work like that (very cool by the way :) ), we'd likely need you to add that data manually to the header/footer area in /z/zadmin.php. A tutorial for doing that can be found here.

We plan to add that in the next major update.

Indeed. We've decided to go away from that. Search will default to the forum soon. It was a silly idea on my part to have it global by default. I'll have the fix for that soon.
