If i turn that off then the block will dissappear from forum home..

i like the way it still shows the forum and in last poster coloumn has the word "private"

Hmm...it's a limitation of the plugin.

But a way you can get he same effect is this. Go ahead and set the permissions on the hidden forum to make it dissappear. Then create a new forum with the same name as the one that is an event forum. Make this one private and only displayed to guests. This way, guests see the forum too, but can't access it anyways since they don't have permission. When they fully register, they see the other forum, but won't know that it's technically a different forum.

Did you do this and it work, or are you suggesting a change in the way the plugin works?

What do you mean by they don't work? Can you not create them? Are you talking about existing events?

To change the date/time format you have to modify the code. I modified the install script to only put only the month and day.

corsacrazy 08-26-2009 06:25 PM

i mean, i have set up an event that repeats every last tuesday of the month and it doesnt show up on each calendar month, only the month i created it ?

Have you checked the dates and the year? Try making a second non-event forum linked calendar and see if it will create the event there.

Definitively in my forum (3.8.3) doesn't appear the new event button in two differents styles (including default). Anyway works well at the moment.

SamirDarji 09-04-2009 02:43 AM

The new event button requires changing your styles manually, so that's normal.
