just info, did not compatible with VB 4.2
This product is not compatible with version 4.2.0 of vBulletin. (Compatible starting with 4.0.0 beta 4 / Incompatible with 4.1.0 alpha 1 and greater)

If you want to move the Thanx button to near the edit post button,
open template postbit
find

i have Tried The above way to change the position of thanks button but i failed ... it still on the same place near ip button. cannot move it near edit buton

you have 2 templates postbitand postbit_legacy depending on what one your using .. so make sure you edit the right one

It's actually based off a "recent thanks" hack that already exists, I just chopped it about rather a lot. :o

After upgrade to 4.2
found something is not working
I set when someone get thanks , will get also 1 reputation
also reputation on 4.2 can be notification by default
- the problem . is the reputation is got by thank but can't see in notification list

Only up to 4.1.12 can be supported as I have not tested it on anything above that and dont have a site now to test it. My site needs renewed and dont have the cash to do that. Talk to hippy see if he can help you

Will look into it, if I remember correctly the reputation was from Paul M's mod he pulled out . You can use recent post thanks mod for the same affect will post back after looking into it more

this is what I came up with
Paul M Removed this Reputation notification from Display Unread Posts
(and Reputation Comments in 4.1) mod for vb4.2
since Display Reputation Comments Given mod was integrated into vb's core

I will have to search for the changes to make it work..
but I'm super busy with updating sites..

I always used and like this mod Recent Thanks for [AJAX] Post Thank You Hack
it does something similar
it will display recent thanks and the amount
note* the members will still get the reputation and view it in the settings
but will not see a notification for a post or thread thanked
they will now see recent thanks

there is a new option in the Admincp called

User Reputation Options
under there set Enable New Reputation Comments Notification to yes
so if a member uses the default give reputation they will receive a notification
and for a post thanks they will see recent thanks
if you install this great mod
By Scandal Recent Thanks for [AJAX] Post Thank You Hack

or you can try to disable the option in the admincp and install the older version of Paul M's mod
but I am not sure of conflicts or if it will display the default reputations given..

One question ...
Want to add a new phrase to this mod.

This is because I'm using it in a forum in Portuguese (pt-pt) and want to do the translation, however note that the same phrase is used in two different places, for English is no problem, but Portuguese is ...

The phrase "post_thanks_thanks" is used in the template <post_thanks_postbit_info> and <post_thanks_button>.
I have a phrase for a different set of these sites as I do.

I've tried to add the phrase by the board administrator Phrases, but does not work.

Hi fellas, quick question:

I've installed this, and all is work:ng ok, but since I installed this mod, the line Down the left under user name and avatar which says "xx blog entries" is partly on the same line as "thanked xx times in xx posts". Is there anyway to move this down so the blog entry line moves down so its all under the thanks line? I can provide a screenshot for more clarity if my description is not clear enough.

Do you think there's some way, vbulletin staff could some way post all your fixes either in the original post, or in the first/second post of the thread?

Having all this right up from when someone's looking at this mod would really, really prevent all the repetitive questions being asked. I'm sure many people don't even realize the full potential of this with your fixes because at first glance they're unaware that they even exist.

Maybe vb could contact abe and get approval to edit the thread or something... lol, or something.

Thanks to ForceHHS, Hippy, and the other contributors not only for providing fixes to the hack, but also providing exceptional support to the rest of us in this thread. Even paid plugins are rarely this well supported.

This version is working great on my 4.1.12, except there isn't a thanks search link in About Me. I'm running DB Sphinx on my forum, is that what's creating the problem? Any solutions?

Hippy, thanks for the quick reponse, ive had a look in postbit and postbit legacy and cant see anything glaringly obvious. this is what I am referring to:

Also, as a seperate issue, does anyone know of a fix for how to get the thanks working in the default mobile style? as the thanks button does not show on mine as of yet, but it would be nice to be able to add this feature for mobile browsing also if possible.

in your post_thanks_postbit_info template youll see this 3 time
