Hello Bobster65:

One thing I forgot to mention that the minimized button (arrow) is not working for all the forums. I think you are missing something there.

First, I would like to congrat you for this mod. I think it is well done for creating the tabs in forum at the top level. I installed it without any problems.

Second, if this method could carry to lower level of the forums, that would be a plus, because sometimes a very large forum could use tabs to make it simplier for the users.

Third, if this method could also be done for blog and cms, that would add more capabilities for the vBulletin as well as making it simplier to manage information.

Forth, if this method could also be done as a stand alone item, so that I somehow want to insert it in the cms articles or forum threads or in blog articles.

Thank you very much for the mod. I installed, voted and nominated.

Victor

I installed film strip mod first without any issues and love it, but now I have issue after installing Tabbed Forum Home mod. It gives me double film strips: one above the Tabbed Forum Home and one below Tabbed Home Forum, as shown below:

Attachment 131051

I am not sure at this moment, but the Tabbed Forum Home is responsible for this conflict. I post it here for possible fixes. I have the following:

1) The hook for film strip is below and it is correct:

$template_hook[forumhome_above_forums] .= $templater->render();

It calls out the film strip above forum.

2) The Tabbed Forum Home calls out both places, as highlighted and shown in RED color below:

<!-- main -->
{vb:raw template_hook.forumhome_above_forums}

<!-- Tabbed Forum Home -->
<div id="forumhome_container" style="margin-top:3px"> </div>
<script type="text/javascript"> {vb:raw tfh} </script>
<!-- /Tabbed Forum Home -->

{vb:raw template_hook.forumhome_below_forums}
<!-- /main -->

It did not call out the hook for the Tabbed Forum Home mod. I am not sure what going on here?

Please help!

insanewhip 07-18-2011 05:51 AM

I tried installing this on 4.1.4 and it doesn't seem to work. I followed directions exactly but its giving me this error code:

Warning: require_once(includes/class_yui.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/forum.php(653) : eval()'d code on line 184

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/class_yui.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in /home/content/i/n/s/insanewhips/html/forum.php(653) : eval()'d code on line 184

Any help?

Can you please add support for VaultWiki forums? I'm not sure how it does things differently, but any VW forums are not appearing in the list when using this mod.

You can host the js files where ever you want to (Local, CDN etc)..

Where can I DL the js files? Can you explain how to host them somewhere else as I noticed my sites loading is much slower with this.

Hey i installed everything like you said, but im getting some error codes and only the XML file is causing it... I unpluged some mods that i have on my site but im still getting this..

Warning: require_once(includes/class_yui.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/forum.php(653) : eval()'d code on line 48

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/class_yui.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in /home/content/i/n/s/insanewhips/html/forum.php(653) : eval()'d code on line 48

Any ideas? The first error code i got was 220 instead of line 48...

Thanks

The tabs aren't showing the forums..
What may cause this? YUI Conflict?

I have several mod which uses their own YUI (Like AWCoding Donation System)
