Hi, great mod. I'm encountering an issue though, if a user has multiple of an item from the shop, the "give away" link does not appear. This doesn't happen if they only have one of an item. Is this a known issue?

Got a small problem with this product: (actually the 3.8 version)

Whenever people receive an Achievement and click to it using Your Notifications, the notification doesn't go away. I've clicked mine for a few weeks now, and it still says I got a new notification: the new achievement.

What function is used to make it go away?

I've searched and looked through this thread (not all 172 pages!) and have not see the answers to a few questions I have before installing this mod.

1. Does this mod conflict with Yet Another Awards System?

2. When a member buys something from the store, where does it go? It says they are placed in the members profile, but I could not see that on the linked Demo site.

3. Would it be possible to have the store items purchased placed in to a new tab on the user profile page?

Okay, I got some of this stuff worked out.

1. It does not conflict with YAAS :D
2. It is placed in the Experience tab created by this product.
3. I'm working on this part still. I'm having issues finding the correct code from this product to put in to my new tab. Here is a thread with the code and progress I've gotten so far if anyone is interested in taking a look.

I just saw in a search of this mod where someone asked the same question... I did not look at the answer and I can't find it again. I came up on a search for "level" I think and said some thing about members getting to 99% of a level. Hope this helps you.

Is it possible to have a level 0 (zero)? I run an aerial combat related site and am theming this modification to fit in with my site. I want to change the phrase "Points" to "Kills" and "Levels" to "Ace". In aerial combat, you need 5 kills to become an Ace. So, I need level 1 to start at 5 points, or kills.

I've written my one Levels xml file to match the very scaled back points levels I'm using. This is the code I'm using for my levels 0 and 1.

I've tried it with and with out the line of code for level 0 (0,0,2) and both ways users with point values between 0 and 5 are all put in level 1.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

alot of my users are losing really high xp points and i dont know why even i as the admin are losing points i have attached a screenie to show what i mean

What does it mean when the system says in xperience.php?go=activities

That was me. How did I return the award? Or does it mean the award was lost by me automatically? Is this the system taking the award from me? Or, am I somehow actually returning it?

Thanks for the great Mod. Me and my users are liking it a lot.

the problem is I created a custom award....and entered in the usernames of the people who I wanted the award to go to.

Every 10 minutes....the system says they return the award, then notifies them they have a new award, effectively spamming their PM box, and creating a mess on their activity page.

Is there a fix for this, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the help!

I've found a big issue with this add-on. We have a special infraction jail room where misbehaving people go for a while. It's controlled by an infraction group. Since installing this it no longer works. The user does not see the room. Has anybody else experienced issues with infraction groups since installing this addon?

I've since uninstalled it but the issue still persists. I'm suspecting a change to the SQL database is the culprit.

Sounds to me like somewhere along the way infraction group users got moved or promoted to another group that cannot see the room and permissions aren't inherited.

Nobody needs to upgrade. It's a decision. It's why I need to stick with vb 3.8 for a while. It works well, it's reliable, I have amazing mods, and I have other things around it. This mod is great and I can't imagine the work to be done to move it. I appreciate all the work the developer put into making this such a wonderful add on for us and am gracious for whatever does or doesn't come further.

u can maibe write we are ready to upgrade to vb4 all mods we use are now compatible and we are ready to migrate. the only missing mailestone is vBExperience. is it working for others? i am doing something wrong or the mod is not compatible with VB4? do you plan to maintain it or I have to look for an other solution?

I've searched here and can't find how to add the points a user has in their postbit. I've got the bars, but I'd like to display the actual points as well. ie. 4,000

What is the variable for points and where do you place it in the postbit?

How do I set up achievements? I had an achievement for no infractions and I said Infractions = 0, but I nor anyone else gets the achievement.

How do I set up permissions as well, as currently some of my custom groups do not have a activity bar? No... They arent in ignored users or usergroups.

They have negative points. There are no permissions for the bars.

I installed the mod and it is great, no problems so far. For some reason i used the level 2 system, and it works fine but i wanted to go down to level 1, even after i imported it and recalculated the activity and points and such on the admincp experience tab it remains the same. not a big deal though. My biggest question is:

We currently have the rank system put in place from vbulletin that ranks them up via post count. I like experience ranking system much better, but i want to use icons ( the military ones) to display their rank, not a bar. How is this done? Thanks!

So if they are negative then they wont have a bar? How do they become positive?
