I get this white screen folowed by the normal page when I click on any game and then click - go back in a browser.
Anyone?

From what I understand, this is "normal" behavior. If I remember something John said once upon a time, it relates to the arcade games communicating with the server. When someone clicks back (when they shouldn't), it may show exactly what you describe. I have seen it myself as well.

Before I even think of installing this, I have one quick question for you blokes that have....
How much of a server hit does this Mod cause? Especially RAM.
I have a busy board that already uses a good part of my Dual Xeon's Resouces and don't have a lot of memory to spare. (Yes I know add more RAM!) :)

But it is a righteous concern.

i have title tag: "Croportal Forum - Arcade" on all pages

i would like to have the name of the Arcade, example game: Helicopter Challenge

title tag: "Helicopter Challenge" instead "Croportal Forum - Arcade"

and on high scores page title tag like the nam of the game and High score

like this: "Helicopter Challenge - High Scores"

Just wondering if we should ever expect update for this arcade system. It just seems like the entire thing was abandoned.
I installed IpProArcade not so while ago, but had to go back to v3arcade due to interface being more user friendly and it just seems like v3arcade is more professional.

MrZeropage, if you could clean up your templates and utilize more ajax features (and perhaps create a right hand side column for news/search/tournaments/leaderboard/etc) just like in v3arcade, that would definetely boost the popularity of your product and help vanish v3arcade.

Honestly, i am very disappointed With v3 Arcade. The main reason is the terrible service, or no service at all. I tried the link on the v3 Arcade Website... Link is dead 404

My users are really enjoying the arcade - thanks much!

I would like to however change the trophy location in the postbit legacy - instead of displaying it next to the username, I'd like to place it down next to the online status, infraction link, etc. with a drop down which only shows arcade awards and the challenge portion of the member drop-down.

I can easily place the icon where I would like it, but I'm not able to get the dropdown to work when I click the icon - it brings me to the users profile page.

how the hell do i import games.

I have loads of games with a php, swf, and a couple of gifs.

But the instructions in the acp are just rubbish.

It says to extract and import the files into the arcade/games folder, this is not there so i assume i had to make these folders. done.

So i extracted a game zip to the new arcade/games folder, but it just does nothing when i click import.
There is no game to import.

I just dont get it??

To install games, upload the game files to admincp/games folder. I think arcade/games is a typo. Then do a mass import.

php files > Admincp > games

Swf files > home dir > games

Image files > images > arcade

mayby this problem was posted before but I got problems with install it!
I follow the instructions that are in the text file.

So I go to Manage Products and than I try to upload the file from my computer!

I waiting very long and the only message I get is: "Importing Product, Please Wait..."

Can anybody help with this problems?

So far, this has not been shown to be a v3arcade vulnerability. No information that can be verified has been given on this and so far it is a single occurance. At first glance, it looks more like an issue with the overall security of that site.

Here's a solution for anyone having problems with any of the following errors when trying to change usergroup settings:


Run this query and replace the * with whichever error you had (minpoststoplay, minreptoplay, or minreglengthtoplay):

I had to run three queries before my usergroup permissions manager started working again.

Check torrent sites they usually have torrents of around 1000+ games btw Ibproarcade games also work with v3arcade. All the ones I found in the torrents worked for me

On mouseover it displays how often each game was played.

I think it is not that difficult to create a box for that, but I think there is no way to do a dedicated category for it

Some games aren't found on v3arcade.com... Like Gold Minder. Where can I find it?

Imported ibpro arcade games do not submit high scores after play. All imported ibpro games seem to just refresh back to my forum homepage once gameplay is finished rather than submiting a score for that game.

Any ideas anyone?? :confused:

if you are using new converted "secured" ibPro-Games, they will not work with v3arcade - those games do only work with ibProArcade v2.6.0+ and later :)

v3arcade is only compatible to the old ibPro-Games, which are unsecure and where cheating is possible in an easy way (same method as v3arcade-games btw) while only the new v3.2 and v3.3 ibPro-Games use Score-Encryption and other techniques to prevent this...

The only reason I install this, cuz the another one layout looks terrible.
