John please talk to me on aim when you get the chance!

Hmm this is weird, a few minutes ago I just got 2 mysql server errors e-mails like this:

Database error in vBulletin 3.0.0 Release Candidate 3:
Invalid SQL:
SELECT COUNT(*) + 1 AS scoresAbove
FROM gamesessions
WHERE score > AND valid=1 AND gamename=''

mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'AND valid=1 AND gamename=''
' at line 4
mysql error number: 1064
Date: Thursday 22nd of January 2004 06:40:04 PM
Script: http://forums.aliensoup.com/arcade.php

Any ideas? All I've installed since installation of the arcade (which has worked perfectly so far) was the "Total Number of Users Online Now on Every Page" hack located here:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=59722

Anything you can decipher?

Sorry John, I think you must have missed my latest exploit find for Maede, I think that would easily explain people getting huge scores, even after you fixed that last bug...

Done! Did I actually find something legitimate? lol...

I've been keeping up with each new update, & you're doing an astounding job with keeping up with all this!

I'll let you know if I see any other errors. :D

Btw, the user who had this occur responded with:

There was a few MySQL problems regarding the sessions with the arcade. This is because during game play and when the game ends it re-directs to the stats page. However as this wastes time I pressed the back button when it was re-directing which caused *something* to happen and created the errors. I can re-create the error again quite easily.

Not sure if there is a way for the hack creator to fix the problem or not, if not then I will just let the page re-direct then click the link again ;) .

I just received a message after I asked him to try it again, and so far he can't reproduce the problem. :) Nice work!

'fraid not, I think this one came up about 7 pages ago! ;)

Heya, I am having this error emailed to me. But everything seems to work fine on the front end.

Invalid SQL:
SELECT user.userid AS userid, gamesessions.score AS score, games.shortname AS shortname FROM vb3_gamesessions
LEFT JOIN vb3_user AS user ON user.userid = gamesessions.userid
LEFT JOIN vb3_games AS games ON gamesessions.gamename = games.shortname
WHERE (gamename='breakout' AND score='9750') OR (gamename='chopper' AND score='444') OR (gamename='simon' AND score='8') OR (gamename='snake' AND score='160') OR (gamename='spaceinvaders' AND score='6830') OR (gamename='target' AND score='390') OR (gamename='tetris' AND score='2055') AND sessiontype=1 ORDER BY gamesessions.gamename DESC

mysql error: Unknown table 'gamesessions' in field list

mysql error number: 1109

Any Ideas
