I´m having problems with the email alerts when users are mentioned. A few weeks ago worked fine, then I changed the SMTP Password in vbulltin general options, and then the email alerts for this mod stoped working. Any idea??

The other email features of vbulletin work fine.

This modification uses the same email code as the rest of vBulletin, it's not affected in any other way by changing the email sending settings.

in Pro version:

- when I disable Hashes, config option at bottom is shown in User control panel.
- when I disable Hashes, link is shown in community Links (and not shown when option is enabled).

Is a new installation.

We have modified some templates (sendmessage, sendtofriend...) for security reasons, someone has been using this functions to send thousand of spam emails from our server.

Does DragonByte Tech uses any of this templates for sending an email to any user when is mentioned??

ok, forget my previous message, I had disabled the 'send email to member' funciont, now it?s set to YES an email alerts work again :)
