Thorsten, click on admincp >> ame cp >> display definitions >>

Then, scroll down to the Amazon thumbnails and click on the actual "Amazon (Thumbnails)" link and click on it. Then, you'll see the "Media Definition Code". The bottom of the two boxes (Replacement) is the one where you'll find where to put the 'tag' for your code.

An example is and you'd replace the "waldisboa-20" with your code.

got it installed after i commented out the "index" portion which is really adding a column to a table. i added it manually.

youtube links wont parse though. i get an icon then a link. i read your FAQ and you say it is b/c it is not allowed to be embedded. i have to look into it more b/c it was doing it for every one of them.

anywho... 8.3.3 and it works.

What a fantastic mod.
However, I've a question about removing definitions: I've imported the list from DJ and noticed, that Amazon was also in the list. So I kicked all 3 of them out.
But when I posted a new entry containing an url from Amazon, the image still showed up and the url didn't got converted using another mod for the affiliate link.

Are the definitions getting cached somewhere or do I need to re-run the tool for rebuilding the posts again?

^^ there is a setting in the AME CP that is yes/no to cache definitions

ok so 3.8.3 and youtube def does not work. it always wraps it w/ a URL tag and puts the following image before it:

I have no other URL or video parsing items installed on my website. Could this be a vbulletin setting interfering?


If I wrap them in AME tags, it works fine.
