I was wondering if there was a way to give an award to a group of users. The Mod option only allows a single user at a time. Is there a way to add a list of users for an award, all with the same reason ?

The other question is whether another group, not just Mods, could manage the awards. Ideally on our board we have long tiem members, who may not be Mods, running challenges. It would be great if I could assign the management of an award to a single user who isn't a Mod.

No and no.

Thanks. Are these options available on the VB 4.x version of the Mod ?

No they aren't.

See the post right above yours.

Any idea if the 4.x version is being worked on to fix the exploits?

Bojangles 09-19-2012 02:10 PM

As far as the 4.x version being quarantined for exploits.. I am glad this happened. Yesterday on my forums I got this database error e-mailed to me:

*DATABASE ERROR REMOVED BY BirdOPrey5*

Someone tried to do a SQL injection but got the users table wrong apparently. Pretty scary stuff.. I would recommend to anyone to remove the request_awards.php file until this can be fixed.

Yep, I've pulled it from my 3 sites. It would be nice to know if anyone is working on it or if they are just waiting for vB5.
