I think i did...I've got everything showing up in the Admin panel and in the CP on the forums its just not showing up there and under the User info.

I am looking for a promotion system based on credits. I want to set up different user groups with different permissions. The more points a user gained, the more permissions he should get. This should be handled automatically without user interaction, so this is a little bit different than the feature rowlandc requested. Is this possible? If not, a cron job would help, right?

How about vb 3.8 beta 1? Will vbcredits work on the new version without problems. I know that it is only beta and that you should not use beta software, but the new features are too important to wait much longer.

Some reason I can't find the "Global Phrase" for "Credits" to change the name.. I have the VBcredits installed properlly cus it is working, but I can't seem to find the "Global Phrase" for credits.

Never mind I wasn't looking far enough.

Promotions system doesnt come included and I am currently focusing on vBCommerce at my site, but you could still suggest your idea there for when I return to this. None of the vb3.7-specific features are integrated with vBCredits either, but it should still work with vb3.8

Check that your usergroup isnt locked from vbcredits, in the usergroup settings for your usergroup.

vBCredits contains useful descriptions and admin help throughout the admin control panel. Where it is missing or unobvious, you are welcome to ask us here. vBCredits is not yet the final version, so it is missing that sort of thing.
