Faux Angel, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
Some members on the forum sometimes complain about that. I got it only once, so it's not consistent.

Yep checked all this and triple checked. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still zilch.

I'm guessing there is a theme problem

ForceHSS 04-09-2012 01:13 AM

check on default skin

PamelaE 04-09-2012 07:53 AM

Nope, not working on default. It's showing in CP as it should just not on the front end.

ForceHSS 04-09-2012 02:10 PM

Then not a skin problem as you said. What version of forums are u running it also could be another plugin you have installed causing it not to show right or you dont have one file installed in the right place

I'm using 4.10. Are there any plug-ins that it's incompatible with?

ForceHSS 04-09-2012 02:36 PM

Are you talking about forum directed by the entry in your profile?
If yes, everything seems to be ok. :)

PamelaE 04-09-2012 04:00 PM

Thank you Ok fixed it, not sure what was going on but disabling everything and then reinstalling got it working. But I noticed groans as a lowercase g when it should be uppercase. like Thanks. Any idea how to solve this?

BrightStar 04-09-2012 05:29 PM

Is it possible to bump up the thread once "Thanks" has been given to a post?

That would kind of defeat the purpose. In my view it helps to stop bumping posts and increase counts by replying with Thanks.

iyama 04-11-2012 02:56 AM

Un-installed. Its not refreshing after say thanks!

G37Sam 04-11-2012 09:21 AM

Is this compatible with 4.1.X?

only the one in my sig is

Crimdog 04-11-2012 10:35 PM

I know this is the 4.X thread, however I have 3.8.x installed...

Could anyone point me in the direction of a mod that allows for on/off button click similar to here on vbulletin.org? I actually want to change the image on click as well. I'm willing to do it myself, but would rather just replicate what someone else has already done if possible. Why re-invent the wheel? :)

Phaedrus 04-11-2012 10:59 PM

So, if I have this installed now and working on my site (with Groans to boot) if I upgrade to the newest version of VBul, will I have compatibility issues?

Whew... That will make me far more likely to upgrade.

:D

Hippy 04-11-2012 11:13 PM

upgrades with the latest vb is not a issue..
I have done so may sites this past week and most have this mod and never a issue..
If you run into trouble .. we are here to help..

jadeboy7 04-12-2012 03:39 AM

For some reason, posts that have been Thanked are still showing the Thanks button. It's probably another mod causing the issue, but does anyone know of an if condition I can use to remove it instead?

Thanks, I was aware of that thread (I already have the modification installed, in addition to BOP5's mods).

I merely asked here because there is much more activity, and my question shouldn't be vbulletin version specific? :)

Thanks anyway.

G37Sam 04-13-2012 11:51 AM

I'm on vb 4.1.12 and got a compatibility error upon trying to install, any help would be appreciated

BirdOPrey5 04-13-2012 12:02 PM

I have edited the main/first post to address the issue of everyone asking the same question without reading the thread.

G37Sam 04-13-2012 12:13 PM

The thread has 2514 posts as of this one, you don't expect me to go through it do you? :)

I don't and it isn't just you, trust me. That said it is good practice to either search a long thread like this or at the very least read the last few pages to see if your question has been asked and answered. Several times a week people ask the same question in this thread.

G37Sam 04-13-2012 12:41 PM

You make a valid point, I'll look at earlier posts in the future :)

Loving this mod for so long, my users love it too.

I'd like to change the background color to look better with my style. My search didn't turn up anything.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

TIA!

Hippy 04-26-2012 08:39 PM
