I think you should start all over again and carefully do all the edits in the install file. Looking back, the fix I gave above probably caused more problems than it fixed.

Cheers,

the backup file is corrupted

oh my god this just gets worse and worse

any more ideas anybody......please (getting desperate now)

theo 07-19-2005 04:37 PM

it would probably just be easier now to sort out the init.php file as the backup seems messed up.

Can somebody please help get this sorted once and for all.

I expected the points the increase as the user posts. So for example with each post they get "10" points.

Stupid question maybe but how to members increase their points? :ermm:

By selecting a winning bet I imagine. ;)

Definitely curious about that as well. I consider it one of my "must have" hacks that will have to be 3.5 ready before I move my site over. Would love to see Rico update it, or failing that, someone capable getting permission from him to do so. With RC1 live on vb.com today, we're rapidly approaching the point where people are going to have to take steps to convert their sites over if that's the direction they're going.

I'm installing vBookie on my vBulletin, and when I run the install script, I get this error:
Database error in vBulletin 3.0.7:

Invalid SQL:
CREATE TABLE vbookie_groups (
group_id SMALLINT UNSIGNED DEFAULT '1' AUTO_INCREMENT NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY,
group_title VARCHAR(255) NOT NULL
) TYPE=MyISAM

mysql error: Invalid default value for 'group_id'

mysql error number: 1067

Date: Saturday 23rd of July 2005 10:19:17 PM
Script: http://www.girlsaloudzone.net/pwrfor...ie_install.php
Referer: http://www.girlsaloudzone.net/pwrfor...ie_install.php
Username: Brendan
IP Address: [edited]

Is this anything you can help me with?

Just remove the "DEFAULT '1'"
