Someone else getting it or its just me ?

Can i use a different flash player for this instead of the one that comes with the installation? Or can i even just use the default flash player that the site uses they are copying the URL from (eg youtube) ?

I can get it to work with our backup youtube bbcode, so I know there is a video there, but anymedia won't parse it. Other youtube links work however.

If I put http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsHFFMzdU_U (adding the www) I get a database error.

Both those links worked fine for me. I can't reproduce that error. I can take a look at your site if you would like.

nice update bro nix...new version...new look...but how come we can't put it now to center...or is it possible to make the thumb size more bigger...and goes also bigger....meaning option to choose the size of thumbnail size and also the player size...

and please if possible...to add the ESPN Sport videos...

thanks and best regards to you and to all also...

;)

You can change the thumbnail size in the css file. Though a lot of the sites thumbnails are small. Thats why I went with that size. If you want to center the thumbnail you can by the way of css also.

What do you see when you post a link?

I can't reproduce that. Do you have a default style you can try it on?

You can use any flash player for your own media. But you'll have to make sure the links etc are formated for it. All video sites use their own flash player.

yes default style does the same :) ERROR!

It posts but error show up

Kaleem 08-29-2007 09:40 PM

Can i disable entirely the use of users uploading their own videos and mp3's. i simply want users to be able to post video's off other sites like youtube..?

Yes.

seanadl 08-29-2007 09:52 PM

Excellent, how do i do this?

Currently some users have the ability to upload, which is fine.. but obviously i do not want things they upload (if they are mp3s) to show up in this media player..?

seanadl 08-29-2007 09:58 PM

Ok, i have a problem. When i attempt to post it under quick reply it simply displays the "media" tags..

and then when i go to post a youtube video, it simply displays an image of the video with a link to the youtube site... :-/

nix 08-29-2007 09:58 PM

If you allow mp3 uploads as attachments just turn off anymedia for attachments. You can also turn off mp3 for linked files. Its all in anymedia options.
