Here's anothor few questions.

1. Should I make it not viewable for myself since I'm the administrator?
2. At the bottom of each adsense banner it says "Remove Advertisments" but then it is a link going to the registration page of the Vbulletin? What's up with that?

This won't seem to install correctly on vB 3.7 RC3.

I install it, but it never shows up in the admin CP menus (I have hard refreshed and cleared my cache as well.). And when I got to the actual link vb_ad_management.php, it is just blank.

I do NOT have a branding free version of vB. Ideas?

I'm on a roll with setting this VB Ad thingy. Hopfully this is my last question.

Originally my forum is at a 90% Table margin which is good, once I added the Left Column ad banner the forum squished to the right. Actually it looks great until I made one change. I made it so that the ads are hidden to me(as the admin) but now the margin for me is at full and probably everyone else it isn't. I wouldn't mind actually seeing the forum the way that others see it. How can I set it up like that?

it s working on vb 3.7 RC3 just unistall and import the vb_ad_management package Allow Overwrite = NO
after that import the vb_ad_management_english package{{ in languages folder }} Allow Overwrite = NO
if you dont import vb_ad_management_english you cant see the ad management menu in your admincp

I have read though as much as i can on this thread, found a solution but i am confusing myself over it.

I have multiple styles and want to use adsense with this mod, i have made a adsense banner with a style to match one of mine, but the code it gave me had no way of changing any colours for the replace variables solution given.

I have used auto insertion and am confusing myself on how ot use this across multiple styles,

That is my adsense code, is there a way i can make multiple adsense banners and insert the code seperatly for each style? i tried the replace variables ot change google_ad_slot = "0263113716" to the code for a second banner with a differant style, but all i got was page not displayed in the banner area.

Any help would be great.

I don't plan on using adsense, I want to post ad banners for local business that will rotate 5-6 different banners with links to each site. Im lost with the Adcode part......I wanted to just ad an html code for the banner with a link to the site on various forum pages and on different parts of the pages as well...

that isnt forumhome, that location would be thread bit, use auto insertion and paste your adsense code in the ox for threadbit.

Thanks for this. Really useful as i dont want to remove ads for members but is there anyway to change it so it sais "Make Money By Being A Member" for instance and then go to a specific page.

Would be even better if there was someway to remove it after they have become a member.

What is auto insertion? is it tool? and what does "ox" mean?

In the threadbit, where i should add the code $threadbit_advertisment?

auto insertion is so you dont have to edit templates/styles in the gernal ad options just turn it on.

In the Admip CP under the Admanagement setting in the Header and Navbar setting:

Simply create a code for each of your sponsors, then divide each code by a " | ". That is the default divideing mark for the code in Admanagement.

Hi,

I must admit that I haven't read all of the 160+ pages yet, but couldn't find an answer with the search function. If anybody would be helpful in pointing me to the right direction within these threads or with a new answer I would be very happy.

Thing is that I would like to make some advertisement sections of the forum available to the super moderators (in this case there's only one super moderator). I would like to have two sections available where she can put the banners in where she wants and the rest of the sections can only be handled from within the administrative control panel.

attachment should explain it a bit more.

Maybe it's best to just hack in the modcp/index.php file at the section $_REQUEST['do'] == "nav" and add the options manually, but I was just wondering if that would be the best way to do it or if somebody would have another option I haven't thought of.

Looking for a little help with using a conditional in the postbit advertising.

I have <if condition="!is_member_of($bbuserinfo, 16)">adcode</if> in my adcode box but for users of that usergroup it displays a blank ad (has a post that contains no ad).

Hi, has anyone come accross this?

I have a problem where my adverts are disappearing when the refresh time is called.

Header section adverts are separated by a delimiter of | in the header section of VB ad management.
Ajax is enabled in VB General settings
Ajax refresh is enabled in VB Ad Management 4 - Global
Ajax refresh is configured in header section (VB Ad Management) and set to 40 seconds.

Initially an advert (taken randomley from my delimited list) appears fine, then after the set period of 40 seconds, the adverts disapear. They do not re-apear until I manually refresh the page. If I continue to manually refresh the page, the ads rotate as expected. However if I do not and the auto refresh is called, they dissapear and do not reapear.

I have tried with latest versions of Explorer and Firefox. (and refreshing browser cache)

I have hard coded into the header template rather than use the auto insert feature of VB admanagement.

Can anyone help with a suggestion?:confused:

@ manutdvn - try putting it in threadbit not forumbit.

I am implementing this mod following the instruction on the installation guide. I am able to create the advertisement (Adsense) but unable to get the Template Edit part to work. Can someone please show me how to do that? I am trying to have Adsense ad's displayed right under the first post of every thread(so I guess it is the Postbit template). I am running 3.69 in the legacy style display if that helps.

P.S. does anyone have problems running this mod with the NuWiki mod?

I installed this from 3.0. I uninstalled 3.0 and then installed 4.0 and I get blank pages when I enable an advertisement to show. Anyone know the answer to this problem?

Can someone help me? This mod is not showing up. I have a skin and tried it a few months ago and it worked but took it down because I wasn't ready yet. Anyways I am going to switch back to the default style but with just color changes and it still doesn't work on that style either. Where am I going wrong?

I need some help with this mod. When I added this to the postbit , in IE 7 it comes with a cross for a picture and then the adcode. How can I change the source of this picture to show something relevant rather than a cross.

Please guide.

Any Help (I have read the entire replies and see that RedTyger isn't supporting this anymore) would love to get my postbit ads workiing, everything else works perfectly, just not the postbit not sure if I haven't inserted the ad correctly or what the deal is.

I am willing to pay anyone that can make this work for me on my site... Since I don't see another Ad Managment Hack that works as well as this one....
