Can anyone confirm if that hack will allow you to post HTML in the articles?? EDIT: The HTML only for admins hack doesn't seem to work for me when creating articles. :( |
Hey fellas....I'm running vB with the vBadvanced CMPS (just starting to set vBa up). My site is www.ap0calypse.com and one of our main features is our hardware reviews. Up till now we have just been posting them in a dedicated forum, but I want to make it more professional, like on the bigger well known sites. You know, so the review has its own pages...you start reading the review, then click "next" to go to the next page of the review, etc.
Will this hack let me do that? I started reading the posts and it seemed like it.....but rather then read 40 pages I figured I would just ask the question. Also, if someone is using this for reviews could you send me the link to your site so I can see what it looks like....thanks! |
How do i do a clean uninstall? I had run the "uninstall" in the admin/install.php and i still have the articles in my admin options scroll down. What else do i have to install?
|
Think about it this way; you ran the install - but did it edit the admincp files for you? No it didn't - the file edits did it for you. So you must reverse-work through the file edits instructions :)

Great hack! Installed smoothly on 3.0.3. Thanks John!

I want to install this hack as it looks fantastic. I don't want to though unless there is a way of using HTML. Does anyone know if HTML can be enabled for the articles?
|
Sweet! Thanks for a nice mod and an easy install!

From what i can see, it all works. Except there is no button to add articles anywhere.
