I've follow the install, and it said everything installed 100% correctly, I've read all the instructions that were posted and setup the user point and rpg name fields.

yet I seem to get two above errors. I fixed the double field issue as well in the modify+profile.txt section of the site.

any help with the above would be great, so I can get this stable on my site.

vb2.3.3, it wasn't supposed to work with that

PixelFX just a quick note from looking at that query. It is trying to update the user field "5" to 10, but perhaps it is suppose to be "field5" check the query to see if that is the problem.

works fine on mine apart from the bank issue, no other probs at all so far and an easy install as well, so i would guess it does work ok on 2.3.3. In fact i am even expanding on the cats and working on the coding myself for new stuff, as it works that well

yes, I have numerous addons done and being worked on.

I'm running RPG hack version .67 on a vBulletin 2.3.0, and I'm testing out version .68 with lesane's store hack on a version 2.3.3 test board and I have had no problems. I'm getting ready to upgrade my main boards.

Some of the addons so far include a Who's Online seciont that lists the user's browsing the boards who are available for an RPG challenge (selectable in profile), and it displays their name a certain color based on their level. I also have an element-dependency hack installed, where you can specify a certain element for a certain class. This helps in balancing, so you can give Spell casters less HP by giving them a low HP element.

Yes, as for anyone wanting to work on it still, I'm slowly learning mysql and php, and would like to help. I'm working on some graphics sets for the rpg script. I'd love to see a monster system added with minor AI, where members could earn so many points for kill making sprites would be easy.

As for my problem above, when I changed the info back to "field#" # = points or rpg name it worked. However I prob need to do a clean install with my production forum. Cause of issues in database tryingt to fix this *cough* I knew it would prob be a simple fix.. ug ..

the bank ? which bank ? I used Lesance store hack so I had to use the bank integrated with store hack, it worked fine just like the one of this hack.
A Battle like this in Vb3 should be great ! but please tell me that you all are not working this for vb2, aren't you ?
addons of Moreliator are good, it's very excited.

well, Zajako's Hacks (RCS) works for VB3, but like Faranth would say: "It is a paid solution".

Why don't you run the repair.php tool it should fix your database problems.

As for the bank I could take a look, but if you can paste the bank portion of the code I would appreciate it because I don't want to download the entire hack.

I saw one Battle hack in IPB, that also looks very perfect, but IPB didn't stand any chance with vb, just that battle hack :D so why dont anybody make a great one but free ^ ^, I sure will when I get my full php skill.

Last time I talked with Bitsys he was thinking of making this for vb3.0 although don't quote me. I think if it does get made it won't be till RC1 is released min.

you know, in ffdiscovery.com there are a: store hack, full battle hack and so more cool things you could find, so I will be dead if no one make one for free and release here. IB also has many battle hack too

What ya guys think of my rpg postbit? I'm still tweaking it but after a few hours I think it's starting to look better.

I personaly dont like HUGE postbits. That postbit you have will take up a whole 800x600 screen and clutter the hell out of the post bit.

If I was to make this hack I would suggest waiting till VB3 Final and maybe a month after. Just in case of bugs and and errors, just in case.

actually, no faranth. Having coded *a lot* of custom hacks myself, even though not released on vb.org, i faced the same problem a few months ago: porting to vb3.

Since this (i assume) is a stand-alone file (or files), there are actually few things that need to change. Code is very easy to port to the new system. Templates can cause big headaches though.

Again, i'm not familiar with this hack, i've never used it. So i'm just assuming.

i know that alot of stuff i worked with and do work with almost totaly has to be rewritten to work with vB3 alot of their functions and stuff has been rewritten. :)

I get this same problem, and I did what Bitsys suggested by changing $post[userid] to $userid... and I still get the error

Also, when in battle, even if a user has bought an item, it won't appear for use in battle... am I missing some kind of "Equip" option... and I did assign Buff and Level numbers for all items

Modifications to the vbulletin functionality usually do need to be rewritten from the ground up. But major additions like this one need severe modifications only in some parts (showthread integration, custom fields, et cetera), but the basic code should be re-usable. ;)
