Seems to be working ok in vbulletin 3.7 Release Candidate 1. Looking around now. I need to be able to set this up so users can purchase exposures for their ads - is that somewhere in here or should I get ready to do some hacking?

I deleted the older version of vB Ad Management. I then uploaded and installed the current version (Ad Management 4). After doing so when I entered in the url for my forums all I got was a white screen. What am I doing wrong? I deleted it and my forums are back, however, most of my add ons were no longer reflected in my forums. Help!

My url is http://members.theparentpack.org and I am running the 3.6.7 version of vbulletin.

I installed version 4.02 on my test site to check it out.

My forum is installed on a subdomain with the name test instead of www.

I tried to enable Full page adverts and selected redirect after 5 page views.

When I had viewed 5 pages and it was time for a redirect I got a 404 page not found.

Instead of redirecting to test.domain.com/advertisment.php I was redirected to domain.com/advertisment.php resulting in 404 page not found.

Is this possible. Right now my stickies are included in the threadbit ads. I would like to not include them so I can keep the stickies all together.

I had issues with my older version of vB Ad Managment. The ads would not show up anywhere but the preview for some reason. They had been working, then they just stopped. So I accidentally deleted the old version of it. Then I downloaded and installed the current 4.0 version of it and when I went to my forums the page was just a blank white screen. Once I deleted it, my forums returned to nearly normal. Now I still do not have the Ad Management, and a few other hacks are still there, but not working, while some are fine. I don't understand what went wrong. Can you help?

anyone know what code I can use to place an ad block on my vbportal I want to display some ads on my portal using this hack and not sure that code to use?

We have 3.14 installed on our forums currently.

I have noticed an issue on our Registration page (see screen shot). This mod was installed before I came to be an admin on this board, so I'm not overly familiar with it (yet).

The ads at the bottom of the page are making the lay out of the page look bad.

I understand that the layout might be uniform for the entire forum, is this correct?

Is there no way to fix this on the one page?

Any help would be really appreciated!

Also another thing how do I remove the "Remove advertisements" link?
As this is linked to the Register URL http://www...forums/register.php?

I went into my header template and deleted it. I can't remember which code it was though. Sorry.

Several different ways to do it. Here are the best two ways:

• You could remove it from a phrase. As shown here.
• You could remove it from a template as shown here.

so the ajax auto refresh does not work in this mod does it??

There is nothing at that link but a redirect that doesn't work. When I look at the forum itself, I see no ads anywhere.

remove advertisements??

Everything is great and i am pretty comfortable playing with the but the only problem is in the archive. It only shows the footer ad and the header (hhmn, sometimes). I never did archive ads before but is there something you have to paste in any of the templates for it to work? For exp: $footer_advertisement ,.... and others I had to paste manually where I wanted them.

Ah cool cheers. I uploaded all the files and it installed fine. I went into the settings (in the admin CP) and there was no text just jumbled up tick boxes (on RC2). I'll upgrade to RC3 over the weekend then give it another try.

I want to copy ad code from Google/anyplace and just paste it here.
On the header, the footer & navbar.
Where can I see the best simple threads/guides on that, instead of going through 163 pages !?

actually this doesnt work right on the forums. causes a few errors. the one noticeable besides the problems when trying to use the auto refresh is it is causing some sort of issue when viewing a thread, you cant click on your user names and have the roll out options of viewing a users profile, sending a PM, so on. it conflicts in the showthread for some reason. that is another problem i have noticed about this mod.

i would suggest not installing this mod at all. use http://www.openx.org/phpadsnew

There are strict rules with the search where you are not allowed to have any ad with the search being there. I'm curious to know if anyone around here is using it and has an pointers on which function in the VB Ad management to stay away from to "NOT" get banned.
