Hey Anthony, I'm thinking of purchasing this for my new website, and I saw a post you made in another thread.

Are you going to make it so [hide] can be used as a must reply to see tag? Instead showing the content based on how many posts you have? I may have miss-understood :)

Also, do you know how many code changes would be involved if I only wanted the hide until reply portion of the hack? That's all I'm really interested in.

Annndd 1 more thing :) Does it un-hide the content when a user uses quick reply, or does he/she have to refresh the page?

Thanks for your help Anthony :)

Yes, I'm gonna make a nice layout switcher in next release.
And it would be the same exact amount of changes if only reply is required. That is because all of those changes are to cover various parsing areas. The parses itself is just a plugin that is stored in one single location.

You remove the stuff from functions.php... Or even restore the default vb functions.php

I tried installing an archived version of my functions.php but to no avail...
What happened is I had a new administrator try to install this and did things in the wrong order. Now, I am stuck! BTW, thank you for your time...

Please restore the DEFAULT version of functions.php from the vBulletin package.

installed this but i get a error in my sitemap when trying to view it..
Code:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: parsehide() in /archive/index.php on line 398
would you know how to fix that??? wanted to get the paid version but i want to fix this one first to test it..

on that line is

Code:

$post['pagetext_simp'] = parseHide($post['pagetext']);
and i have triple checked my install too

also i have installed the product

GreysAnatomy 06-28-2006 12:37 PM

I've installed everything and tried to post a new thread [the forum is brandnew and empty] but I get the following error message:

Code:

Unable to add cookies, header already sent.
File: /home/forumname/public_html/forum/includes/functions_newpost.php
Line: 993

I've checked and re-done the changes but the error is still there. Line 993 is this btw:

Code:

SELECT DISTINCT user.email, user.languageid
Can anyone help me there?
