I think I've found the problem. For some reason it's not allowing me to transfer the dbseositemap.php file over to the server under Public_html. This file is missing from the server and will not allow me to transfer it.

Edit: The file is now on the server...

OK, I've done a complete reinstall. I've also uninstalled the plugin from the Admin panel and reinstalled it with the newest XML file. I guess we wait and see. If this doesn't fix it then I don't know what else to do.

vBSEO has one interesting feature that is the Like system.

Hope DBTech would consider it for future releases.

On the other hand, vBSEO's like feature is resource hog. APTL (DBTech's version) now (older versions also were server intensive, but not as much as vBSEO's Likes) is optimized to level where it almost don't impact server at all.

Probably you don't have many users on your site, otherwise you'll certainly notice server load.
