Do you guys know if this works on 3.8 ?
or is there an alternative hack that works on 3.8? |
Has anyone else experienced very high server loads with this enabled on v3.6.9?
I'm running CentOS 5 on a Dual Xeon Cpanel server PHP 4.4.8 MySQL 4.1.22 XCache 1.22 with XCache Datastore caching enabled via another Mod And it drove the mysqld process's through the roof! Server loads jumped from 0.50 to 3.00-5.00 and even as high as 7.18 until I disabled the Mod. I tried disabling XCache and reenabled eAccelerator. No joy Disabled the Datastore caching, same result. Any help greatly appreciated :) I really need this feature badly. BTW - It does not matter if I have a thread setup to be 'Force Read' or not. Server loads rise the same. |
It works great for me, as long as I have it selected for all forums. If I specifically target a single forum, the user is asked to read the notice each time they visit that forum. Over and over again.

Anyone have any problems with this mod not allowing members to log in to the site? I used the 3.7 version and numerous people could not log in to the site until I disabled it.
Any known product conflicts? I really want to use this mod. |
