An easy fix? Yes. ;)

Thanks RcHelp. I reported the bug and got the following answer from someone.

Try this, v8huntn.

The fix I use is, go to: Admin CP > Settings > Options > Site Name / URL / Contact Details
In the 'Redirect Domain Whitelist' field, add:
https://www.paypal.com
https://www.sandbox.paypal.com
The redirect works fine for me now.

Great deal, glad there is actually an easy fix for this. Wish I would have known that before lol.

I get the error (in the Admin CP)

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in C:\---more path that is correct---\admincp\microcart_admin.php on line 2781

I know it worked once, at the time of vB 4.0.7 (i still had these files lieing around, but they also give the same error now - just a different line, but it also points to the end of the document).
Tried on vBulletin 4.1.5

I was using PHP 5.3.3 and updated to 5.3.6 (didn't helped).

Also a note:
The "functions_wysiwyg.php" (in the includes folder) is not anymore included in a fresh install of 4.1.5 (i copied it over from an older vBulletin backup)

That error means there is an incomplete file. Reupload your files and try again

Raeven 08-16-2011 05:23 AM

Did that already, also with the Version without the a in the end + the old file i still had, and that one worked back then (now it has the same error).

No offense, but reading my entire message, would have helped ;).

//edit: That Admin CP file also causes my Apache to crash (according to logs + its reproducable (around every 4th-5th try I try to view that part, Apache crashes) - both updated and old files that did run for 6 Months just fine)

i will be updating this to work with the old and new editor within the next few days.

I'm trying to install the June 13, 2011 version on vB 4.1.5 PL2 (on a Windows IIS server).

The product installs fine. The microcart portion of the AdminCP appears normally. The "General Options" portion loads and saves my changes.

Both the "Categories" and the "Product & Services" segments, however, return the following error:

PHP Parse error: parse error in D:\www\ . . . \admincp\microcart_admin.php on line 2780

I need help. Nothing I've tried will make this portion of the script run. The store displays fine (so far), but I can't add categories or products. The usergroup permissions part works fine.

Second question (possibly related to the first):

I don't understand what is being asked of me in \microcart\editor\assetmanager\settings.php

I don't know how to edit it, what answers to give, because I don't understand what it's asking me. What ARE "$sBase0, $sBase1, $sBase2, $sBase3"?

there is nothing wrong with the cart system,
the reason you are getting this is that you need to edit the file \microcart\editor\assetmanager\settings.php to your server settings for it to work.

the commercial version does not use this editor any more so this problem has been taken out.

Any way to have this show an initial amount (like 5 chairs) of an item and how many are left after each sale (4 chairs, etc.)?

AndyP 08-19-2011 01:40 AM

I just came across an issue. I have a product that has a discount for certain usergroups. This product also has optional addons that do not get a discount.

When someone from the usergroup buys the original product and an addon, they get the discount for the product, BUT they also get the same discount amount for the addon as well, which shouldn't happen.

I couldn't find a solution by searching this thread, so I can create another bug report, if you want.
