I apologize if this has been answered, but i have installed this now and its wonderful! The only problem i see though is my forum has been open for at least 5 years now so there are many members that have lots of posts and they registered way back when. Even people that havent got nearly as much or are kinda newer than that ALL are almost to reach level 100 or have done so already. Thats no fun. Is there a way for me to increase how many points it takes to go up to the next level? Thank you

Maybe you missed the part about installing, espacially the part "3. Import a level product "vbexperience_level_1_?.xml" (see readme "Levels")."

There are instructions in the readme_levels.txt which level file should be imported. There are different level definitions as there are incomparable forums out there.

just a quick question about promotions.

i want create promotion when 3 requirements are met. e.g.

number of posts 250
days registered 240
points for users 4000

i know to convert the posts and days to points.

but is it possible to do a promotion based on more than one field.

i was thinking to set 3 promotions all with same starting usergroup and promotion user group. with display order set to 1 on all 3

would that work??? or would that just promate if either of the requirements were met not all.

also is it not possible to add an aditional usergroup promotion i.e add a usergroup to current one without changing current group

if non of the above is possible i think it would be a good idea to add at a later date

Currently the promotions are not supporting multiple conditions. This is planned for vBExperience 4.0.1
Additional usergroup promotions are a nice idea, I think I will integrate this.


Really nothing special. It was a refresh of languages and a minor bug showing an non existent image on earn points.

I've attached two plugins for vBExperience 4.

The plugins are untested, as I don't have the live data for them.

Is there a way to issue different point values based on which forum the thread is created or responded in?

In other words I'd like to offer different point values for creating or answering a thread in a forum that deals with information and still other points value for creating or responding in a general chatty forum thread.

another thing for the vbsoccer:
i've 31 points (archived league) and 7 for a live league ... but the xperience gives me 940 ... (10 points by default settings) i think that there is an issue on the count .... i think that i might have 380 points not 940 ..
