Is there any way to have it collapsed as default?
|
Is it possible to move the chat box from directly below the NavBar to beneath the notices? I tried using the {vb:raw vbshout} tag but to no discernible effect ...
Ideally I'd like it in-line with the sidebar just above the first forum group. I believe I have found where to add, just after the "<!-- main -->" comment in ForumHome template. |

Hi, really like the shoutbox and I finally managed to get it placed on our homepage/cms page but we have a small bug. With the shoutbox on the frontpage it always shows you as being on the forum page in the navbar (see pic) If I disable the shoutbox the navbar works fine.
Its not a big issue as you can get to the homepage but little things like this niggle me so I had to post. Anyways hope you can fix it, this shoutbox is much better than gcbos version. Regards D3v |
Ill look into it for the next version :)

Unfortunately another user with issues.
Getting the Loading... screen. It appears my VB is generating a JS error though: Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Security Manager vetoed action" nsresult: "0x80570027 (NS_ERROR_XPC_SECURITY_MANAGER_VETO)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://smarterwiki/content/smarterwiki.js :: anonymous :: line 1152" data: no] Could this have something to do with it? Never had any issues with any other plugins like this though... Googled a lot and found other random people with same error, same issue, no resolution seems strange. Error can be seen on www.mygreatphone.com/forum , have had to disable vbshout though as it doesn't work :( |
I've never seen that before, don't think there's much I can do about it, though I can look around.

ok cheers,
I'm certainly not the only person to get the loading issue though, google is littered with examples just usually people dont bother to run the error console. Could be unrated, or could be the issue, either way this mod doesn't work for me in the following environment: Vbulletin 4, only VBSEO addon (no others), template changes : Adwords, facebook iframe. Shame as looks to be a nice mod. |
