installed but not working. I get a "No input file specified." error when I try to warn a user

Ok... out of what I can translate which is not much at all because I am only just learning German in my free time they are poking fun a bit and the famous word crap is used a bit :D.

Anyway though while I'm posting here, and chance of an upgrade of some sort? Or at least editing the modification preferences so it says 3.5 instead of 3.5 beta 2:D

Hey Zero is there a way I can make it where if someone is warned they get put into a different usergroup that makes them loose site permissions. Like gallery/arcade/journal maybe? that would be a really cool Idea.

you want to open the postings that are warned from within the warning log and not the thread, in which the warned posting is?


Code:

look in template warn_log_row for:

<td style="white-space:nowrap;"><if condition="$Log[w_post] > 0"><a href="showthread.php?$session[sessionurl]p=$Log[w_post]">$vbphrase[review_post]</a><else />N/A</if></td>

replace it with:

<td style="white-space:nowrap;"><if condition="$Log[w_post] > 0"><a href="showthread.php?$session[sessionurl]p=$Log[w_post]#post$Log[w_post]" target="new">$vbphrase[review_post]</a><else />N/A</if></td>

if you wanna have it openend in a new window showing the posting in the thread it was done.

replace it with:

<td style="white-space:nowrap;"><if condition="$Log[w_post] > 0"><a href="showpost.php?$session[sessionurl]p=$Log[w_post]" target="new">$vbphrase[review_post]</a><else />N/A</if></td>

if you wanna have it openend in a new window showing only the posting.

remove target="new" if you want to open in the same window as the warning logs.

No I want a warning log in the admin CP so the admins can look to see who warned who and why in one big box like the ban list in the admin CP

looks quite nice, even though I didn't install yet....

What I'd really like to see is an option to scan registrations for doubles.
There was that Hack for vB2, called 'Who might this new user be' which checked several registration infos against the user database. One of the features was the ability to check the passwords - I think most of the double registrations we caught back there in vB2 were because of similar passwords - and it calculated a percentage rate of how suspect this new registration was.

As this hack seems to be a bit alike the old functionality would just fit greatly into it. So you could a) have the current features of this hack and b) check if banned users are registering again to continue their bad behaviour.
That would keep lots of them out - talking experienced

Hi there - I have installed and it works great. I did notice however, that if the user has PM turned off, the following error is generated when you 'Warn'

Fatal error: Unable to proceed with save while $errors array is not empty in class vB_DataManager_PM in \includes\class_dm.php on line 758

What would be wonderful, of course, is to have the system email the user instead :)

Works great otherwise - thanks for releasing this.

some of my mods just always in haste forget to put anything in it, then i got no idea why someone got warned

First (and only) warning I gave last night (about 10 hours ago) I set it to expire in 30 days. I checked his warning log this morning and I see:

Expires: 1 Minute Ago, 02:21 AM <--- The same time the warning was issued.

Any idea on the problem?

great mod :D

it would be sweet if the next version or so had an option to auto move a user to a limited usergroup at say a warning level of 85-90% or so (user definable of course).

The auto-ban could then kick in when they get another warning afterwards :)

1. Once installed, HOW and where do I use the plugin from?

Since installing this nobodyc an click on any threads to open them!! They get: "Warning: Unknown(/usr/www/htdocs/wireless-florida2/forum/includes/functions_warning.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /includes/class_postbit.php(279) : eval()'d code on line 5"

PLEASE HELP!!!

Excuse me, how to forbid access for moderators and leave access to warn only for administrators???

Still getting this error each time I issue a warning that will expire. (The perm warnings work fine).

any ideas?

Is it possible to exclude a specific group? I got 5 Moderators for one of my forums but I don't want them to be able to warn members.

Re-check your file edits - make sure you have done everything correctly.

The problem only accurs when i try warning a person through they use profile. Also the problem is that it bans the users even if i add only 1 warning.
