no it doesnt... try to add text after [/hide]

After i installed the Hack it seemed to interfere with the Thread Prefixes Hack. In the forumdisplay the Thread Prefixes aren't shown. After de-installing the Hide- Hack everything worked fine again..

This sucks cause the hack is perfect for what I'm looking for and the fact that it's free unlike the other bogus one you have to pay for.

If you have text after it, it won't work.

If you have 2 hides, one won't work.

If you have multiple text in it, it will bunch it all together and not make sense.

If you hide a link, it puts the URL= tags in.

Man, I wish JA would fix it.

Hi i installed this on the latest version on VB and when i try and add a url inside the hide tags it doesnt work heres a example

[hide]http://www.google.com[/hide]

Would display like this inside the box itself.

[ URL="http://www.google.com"]http://www.google.com[/URL ] (without the spaces)

you mustnt write anything after hide tag

or edit it by making it italic etc...

It works in 3.5.4 but it is just very buggy. I suggest usign the old version.

I honestley believe at this point that it is one of two things,

1. either Ja wants to fix it but lacks the proper knowledge, or
2. it is bassicly impossible to achieve these fixes without code modification.

this solution not working! still getting the same db error. when i completely disabled the plugins. the db error gone....

and I reply to unhide the links..after tht it shows up like this

it totally messes up when there are many links hidden..it doesnt recognize line breaks, urls..

Because it's flawed, that's why. I recommend you posts that are posted in a hack's thread before you proceed with installation. And that is for any hack, not just this one.
