2) the hack is the Dynamic Forum Announcements hack tweaked to work in my header so it shows on all pages (including CMPS) 3) Fixed. ctrl+f5 if it still shows 4) No you don't as they are stored in your database 5) The color of the vBRadio page? This page uses the style you have set for the rest of the site. |
Running 3.0.5 and it seems to work fine for me.... Nice job, ZT :)
|
*uninstall* :(
No need for a hack that is written for Internet Explorer users only. |

This looks like this was based on the radio mod available for phpBB, ZT.
|
now featuring on ragezone.com

Hi everyone. Got the mod installed without any errors, but when I click the vBRadio link on the navbar, it pops up a blank page.
Going to www.mysite.com/forum/vBRadio.php is blank as well. Tried in Firefox and IE, same result. vBulletin 3.0.3. Thanks! -Mark |

|
I know I already posted thanking you for this hack, but THIS HACK IS F-ING AWESOME!!! My members LOVE it!!!!

Hello,
no one answered my question about implementing Real Player Streams but this hack says "supported". I do not like it if people do not care about their hacks. I care about my hacks which i released. Hopefully the author is just AFK for a short period of time. Regardless of this i sat down and implemented it on my own. I have now Windows Media Player and Real Player Stream on my VBRadio. :devious: The Sunshine live Stream is the Real Player Stream marked with the (R). All other streams marked with (W) are Windows Media Player streams. If you want to have a look on your own http://www.LoveTalks.de/forum/ Hint: This is a german site !!! :nervous: If people are interested in this recoding then please post it here. I had to modify all files and also do database changes. If the author is interested i would be more then happy to share my changes. Cheers, |
Hmm, i would love to have real player support also:)
|
Hey there,
Ditto, I'd love to add additional player options to my site! |
hi guys..i keep seeing ppl saying they`ve installed it, but all thety see is a blank window...and the response is always"something wrong with the RADIO template....."
well ive got the same problem..ie.....open window...and its a blank. instead of the same reply yet again...can someone go into a little more depth as to how to resolve it please? theres a few of us n00bs knocking around u know. ;) |
Installed this mod. When clicking on link from Home Page , I get a 404 Error ,when clicking it from the forum pages it opens up the window, but when I click on PLAY THIS STATION , nothing happens
|
In the javascript, change vBRadio.php to
Code:
$vboptions[bburl]/vBRadio.php |
Thanks SVT ,that worked, still cant get anything to play. Went to a radio site, listened online . Copied the url ending in .asx and added it to my site, nothing
|
Got this working on VB 3.0.6 and it works perfectly ... anyone got a list of stations handy ? or even a method to find them , the ones on it work ok , but id like a better selection if possible.
Thanks |
There are several sources listed throughout this thread. It would be convenient, though, if they could all be listed at the top with the hack description.
|
All I get is a pop-up screen... it stays white.

wooow it is wery good hack i will install it now

Firefox workaround!
I haven't been through every post, there's a lot of pointless posts, but I found that using Media Player 10 and Firefox 1 (latest of each) you will most likely see connecting... right away even before selecting a station, hit the play this station button to start a stream (within 6 or so secs) (though I have altered the RADIO template to include the controls, which firefox plugin doesn't ignore. once you start streaming the first channel in the list, you can then select any channel at will with good ol' Firefox. Apologies if this has been mentioned already, but this hack thread is getting cluttered quick Great Hack :) |
i would love to see realplayer support as well.
