i am currently adding numerous options to admin settings due to the fact that i know some admins dont need all these features and some do. I am also doing this so for those who worry about server loads, queries etc. wont have to because of some feature is active that you didn't want.

I am going to beta test the journal system on my site shortly after i make the instructions file and installation file. Also as of now the install file will not install templates but it will handle all the necessary SQL queries;)

I will announce when the journal system is setup for public beta test:)

yes usergroup settings are in the usergroup management section of admincp;)

Did you decide to include/exclude ratings?

Is there a method for admin to delete a journal? Journal entries? Comments?

Are URL's consistent? Easy to formulate a link with username or userid?

ratings are included but only for journals, not for journal entries;)

you can not delete comments as of yet but journals and journal entries can be deleted only by administrators as of now

the journals are not based on userids or usernames but finding ones journal id is easy and not necessary thanks to the gotomyjournal function which will automatically redirect the user to his/her journal if one exists and if not it will redirect them to the journal start page;)

will there be categories for the journals? can the users adjust the look of their journal in anyway?

journal categories do not exist however in the next version i plan to give users the options of coloring their journals

ok the journal buddy system is almost fully installed into the journal system, many thanks to Wonko the Sane for allowing me to use his code for journal buddies. Also to Oblivion Knight who helped me with getting permission to use the journal buddy system by Wonko the Sane. Again many thanks to Wonko the Sane:)
