3. additional questions

1. Ckeditor Photoplog Gallery Selector button returns page 404.

selector.php is in place and works. Selector button is not pointing to the selector. Everything else works, so I think all the paths are set correctly. Checked and triple-checked.

2. How do I add BBcode for centering items text/img?

3. Watermark does not get displayed. Have server path set to where the image is /home/yyy/public_html/yyy/image.png

Any ideas?

I'm running VBA Links on my site and when I click on the tab for the Links mod I get this error after installing Photoplog.

Code:

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required '/home/xxxx/public_html/forum/http://xxxx.com/forum/admincp/photoplog_plugins.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/xxxx/public_html/forum/includes/class_bootstrap.php(430) : eval()'d code on line 47
I have the correct path ways set I'm pretty sure of that.

Help would be great. I really hate to have to dump Photoplog because its the only gallery that I've found that displays as i want it on my site.

It appears as if you have uploaded the files incorrectly. Please drag and drop the contents of the upload folder (use Ctrl+A to select all files) to your public_html folder. :)

all files correct uploaded error the same...

Whats up with your Website www.photoplog.com? I bought the Pro version over a year ago. I have forgotten my login password and any attempt to reset it or to contact you about this gives me this error

I believe that he is not maintaining it too much. The Pro version has been released here so...

Can you capture an image off of your desktop and post it to the forum? That's the one thing my members hate about vBulletin...they'd like to be able to post an image without saving it to a file...

No, pretty sure if you wanted that kind of implementation you would have to ask in the Paid Requests area here for a PHP coder to add it to the gallery. I'm not sure if its even possible to do code wise.

Ah...thanks...

Check your upload. Those warnings indicate that your files are not where the script thinks they should be. When uploading your files upload all the directories in tact.

ahobilam 04-05-2014 06:03 AM

Uninstalled
Not working in 4.2.2 Patch level 1

I get the same error. I think it is because functions_navigation.php does not exist in VB 4.2.0. I cannot find it anywhere, even in a new install file!

tbworld 07-14-2014 08:22 PM

Updated: 2014.07.15

Information I posted was incorrect, so I am deleting the contents as not to confuse anyone else. I believed my premise was correct, as I searched 4.2.0 and did not find the function. I should have searched v4.2.1 to see if they added the function and did not. :(

The function does not exist in v4.2.0.
The function does exist in v4.2.1.

M4T VW 07-15-2014 07:43 PM

So why does it say:

Quote:

PhotoPlog Pro 2.1.6 has been developed for the following version of vBulletin:? vBulletin 4.2.1 (fresh install)
When I cannot get it to work on 4.2.0? I very much doubt they went back to the old navigation system in 4.2.1!

This is not an easy add on to install. The gentleman that released this mod installed it on my site a year ago. I have since had to un-install it because of conflicts with my main style.

On one of my styles he had to change the code and install the add on in it's own folder on the server.

That's all I can tell ya as I had nothing to do with install.

Ah, I have now seen the edit.

So they put the old function back in 4.2.1? That's strange...

No, I goofed. The function is not in v4.2.0, that is because they added it in v4.2.1. :)

M4T VW 07-17-2014 06:55 PM

Ahh I see. Ok great, I will update to 4.2.1 or more and test the mod out. Cheers!

M4T VW 07-17-2014 07:48 PM

Hmm, So photoplog URL does not seem to update it's location.
I'm putting in the URL www.website.co.uk/forum/photoblog but it's ignoring the /forum/ part and wanting to go straight to www.website.co.uk/photoplog
I'm running 4.2.2 now

HM666 10-08-2014 03:06 AM

How can I allow a member to upload a PDF file using Photoplog?

Rakehel 11-22-2014 11:57 AM

After a SiteLock scan and then contacting my host about any issues they sent the info below. Does anyone know how I go about fixing the issue? Is it an issue based upon being an "experimental script?" I searched here but can't find anything. (And is SiteLock a "reputable" scanner?)

Quote:

An attacker may be able to exploit this issue to bypass authentication, read confidential data, modify the remote database, or even take control of the remote operating system.
Note that this script is experimental and may be prone to false positives.

Solution: Modify the affected CGI scripts so that they properly escape arguments.

Technical Details: Using the GET HTTP method, SiteLock App Scan found that :+ The following resources may be vulnerable to blind SQL injection (time

Please check your affected CGI script and modify them so that the issue can be resolved.

Dave 11-22-2014 01:37 PM

It's a false positive. The do parameter is not even used in queries.

Rakehel 11-22-2014 04:46 PM

Thank you Dave!

dknelson 11-25-2014 09:25 AM

Some of my members like the thumbnails showing at the top of the page and others don't. Has anybody figured out a way to make them user collapsable?

dknelson 11-25-2014 11:40 AM

I looked at the VBulletin 3.7 version of this and the screen shots clearly show a collapse icon on the film strip. The screenshots for this version do not show it. There must be a way to do it. I tried registered at the PhotoPlog forum to see if there was any info there but apparently they are having some issues because I get a server error when I try to register.

Hopefully somebody here can help with this.

kylek 12-12-2014 08:23 AM

Anyone have style issues after installing this? All our styles including default are screwed up when viewing the gallery index.

Rakehel 01-17-2015 12:10 PM

Since upgrading to 4.2.2 PL3 we're receiving this error message when clicking on Photoplog thumbnails (Top of board or in Photoplog itself.):

Quote:

Warning: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in ..../photoplog/ratebit.php on line 29
That would be this line of code:

Quote:

$bbcode_parser =& new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletin, fetch_tag_list());
I tried re-uploading that file but no change. Has anyone experienced this issue? What is the message telling me?

Dave 01-17-2015 01:01 PM

I believe you can fix that by replacing
PHP Code:

$bbcode_parser =& new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletinfetch_tag_list());

with
PHP Code:

$bbcode_parser = new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletinfetch_tag_list());

Rakehel 01-17-2015 02:28 PM

Thank you Dave, again...LOL. That is indeed the fix!

moonclamp 03-23-2015 12:59 AM

Couple of issues ...

How do I delete/edit the navbar menu item so I can create my own?

I am using vbadvanced, but I don't want thumbnails on my vba page - the included file is quite a but different to my vba file. However, if I leave it alone my homepage goes blank.

tomshawk 04-25-2015 05:56 AM

Nevermind. I'm an idiot

Works perfectly

Thank you

Hat jemand eine Deutsche Sprachdatei für die aktuelle Version 2.1.6?

Have someone german phrases for version 2.1.6?

Rakehel 12-22-2016 01:25 PM

I'm wondering if anyone answers questions about Photoplog at this point, but here's one:

I'm trying to get a solid background color to display behind the thumbs on Forumhome, top and bottom.

The reason being that on custom skins the main background is displaying inside the thumb borders, and on the bottom thumb display that obscures the info and data for each picture. And then of course the Forum Display pages, etc.

If you can post a link to your forum, I can likely write a simple plugin to add the needed CSS. What color would you want behind the thumbs?

Rakehel 12-22-2016 02:24 PM

Thanks Mark! We have 6-7 skins that are currently being worked on, removed or updated. I've put off fixing some things for a long time.

I'm just looking for a color setting, light - medium gray, so it won't clash with some of our themes. White would be fine too.

I would think there's somewhere in the Pro version to work on colors but I've looked everywhere with no luck.

we're here: ulctribal.com

** Forgot to add, have a default style set other than the vB default.

Do you have to be a registered user to see the thumbs? I'm only seeing your notices up top...:)
