Sorry I forgot to mention - It works with vBSEO. There is a specific option inside the modification settings to tweak it to work with vBSEO :)

Ya, it'd be really great not to have to spend 60$ for one mod just to get updates for 3 months. I will never have a need for any of the other plugins nor do I find any of the themes listed suitable for the site I run.

I understand the need to be compensated for the work, but $60 is just a waste of money when the lite version doesn't even work properly.

In our eyes, we think $60 for this mod alone is extremely cheap to give your site the functionality similar to Facebook/Google + who spend millions developing these types of technologies. Being in 3.0 version, its' maturing as a modification. This modification was not cheap to make, we did bring some extra developers in to help out.

v.3.0 LITE is not out yet but it will be soon. I like giving my members the first opportunity to experience it. For now 2.0 Lite will continue to be available for vb.org members. Thanks for your patience.

The manual have some errors. Some fields are empty.
The second paragraph was not found in current version of vBulletin.
Main CSS are in a template, but they still need to be re-include in additional.css

The Mod doesn't support VBSEO Like.

vBSEO Likes are not supported in this version. vBSEO Links to your threads, profiles, pms etc are. You also have the option to have your other notifications tab open if likes are that important.

We like doing massive updates rather than small updates to make it less hectic for the users installing it so many times.

More suggestions would be great as well, keep them coming.

Need to optimize much to be used on big forums.

An overview of notifications not on profile, but on a usercp page. Preferable a tabbed content page with tabs for:
- New content, including subscriptions, replies, quotes & @username
- Messages (PM & VM)
- Reputation comments
- Moderation

Separate notification icon for moderator notifications.
Maybe use a big M for an icon.

Moderator notifications:
- Posts awaiting moderation
- Threads awaiting moderation
- Group messages awaiting moderation
- Picture comments awaiting moderation
- VMs awaiting moderation
- Album pictures awaiting moderation

Its' suppose to be transparent. Your missing world.png image for that. Try putting that image from our zip images/misc/world.png in your themes respective location

If you don't see anything, try taking another look at your header template and make sure you edited it correctly. Also make sure your editing the theme that your using.

Would this work with the DB tech tagging plugin?

And is this resource intensive i.e suitable for forums on shared hosting packages?

The file Forum-Skins Notifications.xml is not inside. So I can't do . Upload Forum-Skins Notifications.xml to Admincp > Plugins and Products > Manage Plugins

Well I have the same problem. The world.png icon is not displayed and in the add.css code I can?t see any reference to that icon :S

I had a guy from the outside come in a optimize it as best as possible. The more people using this version and giving feedback the better.

The .xml is in the do not upload folder.

I believe you can move it whereever you want. Just place the variable in a different location :) Haven't tested this fully but in theory it should work right.

I installed on vBulletin 4.1.9, and then must munually edit my template 'header' to show 'World' icon. Although I choose turn off default vbulletin notifications, but it seems not to work. One more, its style is very bad

I love the idea of this mod and would like to give it a run, but the description of compatibility isn't exactly clear:
Note the parts in Red- at the top in Big letters it states it is NOT compatible with UTF-8, then at the bottom in small letters, it states that it IS compatible.

Which is it?
