I was reading an article on the demo site and every 15 seconds or so the page would automatically scroll back to the slider even thouigh I was reading an article. is that suppose to happen?

I have downloaded the latest version as VIP member for vBSocial.com Slider 5.0
I have followed every procedure of the installation and RSS External data is enable on my forum.
I also added the PHP widget code. But it's not pulling any data from my from or CMS it's just empty.

The Slider don't show on my Forum and CMS.
Please what the probs?

I'm not asking for the fine differences, that are evident if you follow the links of the download package. What I'm asking for is an explanation of the install procedure, public, or downloadable.

I don't want to pay for something that's the installation instructions of a free mod. And without succesfull install of the free version, I will not pay nothing to get a mores powerful version

And I'm using version 3 of this mod, version 5 is an unpgrade? how to upgrade?

its working but not pulling images from CMS or FORUMS

If you want to pull images from cms and forums, you need to allow images to be viewed by guests. Images can be seen by members only if not disabled.

No offense but is there any SLider mods that actually work for 4.2? I installed a few of them none worked and this one shut my entire forum down, I had to uninstalled it for my forum to show back up.....

The VIP version of the slider is working well, but i have this issues:
1. The slider only pull content but do not pull images from Rss,CMS and Forum
2. The slider do not load fast on page start-up it slowing my site.

Please try and work on this listed issues above.

Yep, same on my site, however, I wouldn't say it is working well ;)

I did notice that when trying to pull images from the CMS the image link is http://www.yourdomain.com/http://you...image-path.jpg

My site's VIP subscription runs out on the Monday, we've already decided we won't be renewing the 3 month subscription at this time (however we may in the future because your products are potentially very good) - if the issues are sorted before our subscription expiry then we will proceed to use your slider....if not we'll stick with the one we've got which works perfectly for us.

I have 1 image that showed and it is the default made for *WORD* in title. but other titles have this word and the image isn't showing

RSS - giving the same error as the above poster

Forums - pulls the thread description but not the images (only image it showed was on attachment but there are many more threads with images - doesn't look like it was pulling anything using img bbcode)

CMS - showed the images but no thread titles or description

Also, some members have complained about their browsers crashing with this script causing the error

My subscription has now expired (today I think) and I'm not going to renew it for a product that doesn't work for me, as I said before I've got an alternative that works perfectly.
