CP -> Settings -> Navigation Manager -> Remove tick from quiz tab and save.

Now you have to be have one tab.

I tried posting a presale question on your site and I get an error...and I did fill out what site I wanted to use it on. Regardless, my question is:

Can you embed video in quiz questions? I only see BB Code on the Quiz description page.

Too many bugs to list. They don't answer questions at all. Was looking at buying but since they don't respond AT ALL, this should be heading to the bone yard.

Sorry about the extra nav link, next version I'll take the extra one out. You could do what cosan suggested or the preferred way is to disable the dynamic one.

If you are using the nav manager one you can disable it from inside there. If you are using the dynamic one you can't disable it.
It uses normal FAQ entries, in your ACP there should be a section on the left pane called FAQ that you can edit it in.

You can only emed remotely hosted videos, like youtube. It doesn't embed/display videos in itself.

I have a qauestion. Two years ago i bought the VbCover quiz. Worked fine till people find out that they can trick the timer of the quiz by simple clicking a page back. The quiz is not submitted and they have a screenshot from all the questions. They have time enought to find the answers and after that they will fill them in and win the quiz.

This looks like fun but not when you are giving away prices with a value of 500 dollar. Is this also possible with this quiz. If not, i would like to take the pro version but i need to be sure.

Do you mean they would take the quiz, get up to where they could see the answers of what they did wrong and hit the back button to correct their answers then finish it again?
No, unfortunately for them I thought of that :)
Once the quiz is finished and scored, they can go back and modify all they want but when they try and finish it again it will just give an error that the quiz has already been submitted.

1 question, i installed and it shows as active in the Navigation Manager but it doesnt show on the Navbar so i cant use it, any ideas?

Make sure you configured the usergroup settings right so the admin can see quizzes. If you think you have it right and you still can't see the button I'd need to get admin access to check it out and see what's going on.

Its fixed..................sort of lol i now have 2 vBQuiz tabs and 1 of them doesnt show in the Navigation Manager, i had make the one in NM inactive just to get rid of one on the Navbar until i can figure out why i now have 2, i have no way to edit the settings of the 2nd one because i have no idea where its running from, its a little weird lol

Yeah sorry about that. Go into your plugin manager and disable the plugin called "Navigation Manager 4.2" in the quiz section. Once you disable that plugin you can activate the nav manager one for manual placement.
I need to put in an option to disable the dynamic nav link.

Fix: judged score not updating correctly

No not really.
They enter the quiz, make a screenshot of the questions and then press BACK. The quiz is never finalized. Then with the screenshot they can find the answers without the pressure of time.

For me the best thing would be that when they START the quiz then that there is already something in the systems that knows they have already took the quiz even when they don't finalyze it.

After Upgrading to 4.2.1 I am not able to take any quiz and error is you do not have permission.

Also not able to see any options on vbquiz at Control Panel.

I just added v2.0.0 gold. This is the latest stable release.

I have been playing with this and just upgraded it to the latest version. When I submit my test quiz I always score "0 points answered correctly out of 0 points possible". Also, if I try to leave a comment on the Quiz Landing Page I always end up with the screenshot added to this post. Its a message where I am guessing a javascript action is taking place. Not sure how to correct it.

Ignore the picture. The javascript is all working now after I cleared my cookies. My test is still scoring like that though.

If you can create me a temp account I'll take a look. I'll need access to be able to edit quizzes.

I don't need you to edit the quiz itself. My concern now is that I just installed this 100% clean and it doesn't work out of the box. My intent is/was to purchase the pro version because this has the potential to work for me on one of my sites.

I haven't modified anything at all. It is 100% vanilla.

I can take the test but it doesn't score. I also tried using the weighted score system and that too doesn't work. What could you change on this quiz that would make it work?

I also just checked the results table and after 1 test (5 questions) it says I answered 25 incorrect and got 0 correct with a 0% result. It even says I only took 1 test, today. What would you change to fix this issue?

As you can imagine, with a large mod like this it's best to see the issues in action in order to verify the process for reproducing an issue.

Obviously the issues you are reporting do not exist for every user, otherwise this thread would have been flooded with reports of this issue since day 1.

If the developer of the modification requests access to see the issues in action as well as validate the configuration, but you refuse this request, then we will be unable to assist you. Your issue may be fixed in the future if another user encounters the same issue and is willing to help our developers reproduce & fix the issue, but there is no guarantee that this will happen.

Not a problem. You lost a guaranteed sale. lol If I wanted a lecture I would have requested one. I asked what you would be able to change in the settings, which I knew was nothing that would change the outcome. I will install the light on a clean vb and debug it myself. lol

If we can't debug it remotely, we'll request access. If we can't debug it via the AdminCP, we'll request FTP to debug the files.

I "lecture" (inform) people about our policies as each individual person or company here on vB.org have their own way of providing support :)
You appeared confused as to why we requested ACP access, so I clarified :)

In most cases, it's impossible to tell that ahead of time.

I posit it's also a waste of time to attempt to list all test scenarios before actually attempting it - in most cases, that takes more time than actually testing it :p
