Need your help please, with my lack of understanding
In "VBSEO sitemap setting" the field placement site map (Sitemap Files URL) Wrote in explanation that the sitemap is located by default in the ROOT Site Map created by Vbseo created in directory - vbseo_sitemap/data Do I need to change something? Added that if you change the setting have to change the htaccess - You wrote an explanation: "Edit the. Htaccess file of the folder in which you want to locate your sitemap files. file of the folder in which you want to locate your sitemap files." In short a little confused here I would be happy if you could give an explanation what to do and what to address in Google Webmasters and Bing |

In most cases, leave this setting blank. This is an optional setting for advanced configurations. you should submit site.com/forumpath/sitemap_index.xml.gz |
Thanks Brain...

The CML Sitemap looks very very strange.
Why content.php.php ? Why wrong charset ? <url> <loc>http://www.example.com/sample/content.php.php?108-one-sample-it-is-lt-3</loc> <priority>0.5426</priority> <lastmod>2010-11-30T12:10:57+00:00</lastmod> <changefreq>daily</changefreq> </url> <url> <loc>http://www.example.com/sample/sample.php.php?109-My-Sample-in-high-Hhe</loc> <priority>0.5489</priority> <lastmod>2010-12-02T07:53:02+00:00</lastmod> <changefreq>daily</changefreq> </url> |
Getting these errors when I try to run vBSEO XML Sitemap:

the data physically writes to vbseo_sitemap/data/ Quote:
you will need to increase your max execution time, or remove some sections from the sitemap so that it completes faster. regarding the special characters in urls, this is a known issue that likely will not be addressed. It works perfectly with the core vbseo product installed, but alone the sitemap cannot change your vb-generated forum urls. |
Thank you..

I just installed this and ran the cron and got the following error..

Never mind, I believe I solved this problem by removing some old forums that were no longer being used.. Running fine now.. There may have been some very long threads in the one forum..

If you're having include errors, odds are something is uploaded to the wrong place or you've set a custom doc root or base tag somewhere else that is causing a conflict. |
So I setup so this would send me an e-mail and I could review it.
