is a pity that the author has abandoned the update of this skin for vbulletin, has always been my favorite since its release.

I must of missed something in this thread? The creator posted that he is busy - when he gets some time he will update it - that was posted Oct. 31st.

When he gets to it - he gets to it - most of these fine folks who take the time to give us a product for free - do it around thier already busy lifestyles.....lets not forget they have lives too.

This is some of my members favorite skin too by the way.....but when it gets updated is when it gets updated.

I got my localhost back up running with vB 4.0.8 and I have to say that it has made a mess of the style. I'm not abandoning it at all or any of my other styles.

At least some people have a idea what it takes to get updates together sometimes. I'm sorry to the others that have to move on. I will try my best to get something stable up here soon.

Guys since vB 4.1 is out now I will most likely be rebuilding the style from scratch. I'm thinking this will be the easiest way to go about updating Blackend to be inline with all template updates.

Man I am running vb 4.08 and everything is jacked with this skin, This was a great skin but I cant afford to keep my site messed up now. I confirmed that its not any other mods because I disabled all plugins and still the usercp is all messed up.

Can we at least get some limited support. I can pay you to fix this please PM me ASAP

From what I gather by reading over in the licensed memebers area on vB.com, from now on skins shouldn't "break" with each upgrade. That's gotta be music to your ears. ;)

Love this skin and so do my members, I am just waiting for the 4.1 version so I can upgrade my forums. Yup we like the skin so much I won't upgrade until this skin is ready for 4.1.

The original Blackend style is updated to vB 4.1!

Blackend-Red will come soon. Having to reproduce this style from scratch consider it to be in beta stage. Please let me know of any problems or suggestions you all may have.

Guys, I uploaded a version without my footer copyright link in place. The zip has been updated with the correct footer link.

Sorry but please re-download and import the xml again and overwrite the Blackend style.

You have to create your own logo. I don't think I have that logo.psd anymore.

use a transparent png, this solves it
it uses the logo from the default vBulletin skin

Have a problem with the Tabs in User Profiles, they look gnarly.

You can see what I mean in my Profile here I have made no changes to the theme other than the colouring of elements already in place. I do have a few add-ons that add tabs to this area (DB Tech Advanced User Tagging, Yet Another Awards System & vB3 Arcade).

Another issue I have is ... I have swapped the Text boxes and Input fields areas to White Text, Dark Grey background, but have a problem with login in Firefox & Chrome being light grey text on white background when focuses, I fixed in Opera and IE7/8/9 to the best of my knowledge, but Firefox and Chrome persist, can you offer advice on this?

Something is out of whack. Since none of the main templates are changed from default and I have not done any changes to any of the tabs it has to be the mod/mods or something you may have changed. Its creating a border for the tab plus a border for the tab description. Import the style again using a different name than your current one. See if the default Blackend style has this issue.

As for the login text issue i really have no idea without spending some time with it.

Thing is, I completely removed the old version of the theme before uploading, I did not over write the old one, the only template edits I've ever made are to Legacy Postbit, using the "How to Reduce Space in Postbit" mod, and a little bit of CSS in the Additional.css to centre the site banner.

My laptop charger has also blown up, so I can't get to all my 'stuff' to re upload the theme for at least 5 days. This was something I noticed started happening after the vB4.0.8 upgrade. If you can direct me to the bit of Template/CSS that handles the tab, maybe I can find the problem ...

Devil_Dog, Blackend_Red is essentially Blackend, with multiple StyleVar changes, since I modify from default anyway, I simply made the same changes I normally would to the theme, different shade of red, different link colours, different font colours, different gradients etc. etc..
