DragonByte Tech 02-21-2011 05:21 PM

Are you sure you imported the product XML file?

Fillip

angeljs 02-21-2011 05:41 PM

Yes, twice :)

DragonByte Tech 02-21-2011 05:52 PM

Please reset your version number to 1.2.2, delete all downloaded .zips, re-download it, then re-import the XML file.

It should then correctly update to 1.2.3 (which is when that column got added) and beyond.

Fillip

angeljs 02-21-2011 06:18 PM

Thanks, that did it :)

DragonByte Tech 02-21-2011 06:20 PM

Good stuff :D

I have the same problem. DBTech, does the pro version prevent email addresses from being tagged?

DragonByte Tech 03-18-2011 04:10 PM

Not currently, no, we're looking into fixing it for the next feature update :)

I get this error in my Admin CP after installing your plugin when updating the settings on many of my plugins, including ibProArcade and Yet Another Awards System!

I'm running vBulletin 3.8.7

Warning: require([path]/dbtech/usertag/class_template.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/dbtech/usertag/hooks/bbcode_parse_complete_precache.php on line 5

Fixed, please re-download the zip and re-upload the files :)

Thank you very useful!

DragonByte Tech 04-01-2011 03:35 PM

v2.0 has been released:
* Re-introduces the ; as an optional delimiter for @mentions
* Notifications when you are quoted in a post

DEGE 04-01-2011 03:58 PM

Hi,

Don't know if anyone else has this issue.

While this product is enabled I can't edit, or even see the BBCodes in the admincp. I have to disable the whole product to edit or add a new BBCode. I'm running VB 3.8.4

Fillip

Interesting I just had an in-house mod quoted for that sole purpose. Does it notify the user who was quoted everytime they're quoted in the thread?

Or does it only notify people if they have been mentioned + quoted?

DragonByte Tech 04-02-2011 03:40 PM

Every time they get quoted :)

Fillip

Wonksta 04-02-2011 09:27 PM

Fuuuuuuuuuu if only I waited a little longer! Haha thanks mate this is going to be a HIT feature.

Can you please post screenshots? This is very interesting.

Not really a ton to screenshot to be honest. Whenever someone is quoted they get a notification using the standard vBulletin Notification system. The look of the quote itself isn't modified =)

This quotes feature is amazing Dragon, Thanks so much!

Fabikus 04-05-2011 10:43 AM

How to disable quotes feature?

DragonByte Tech 04-05-2011 01:13 PM

Uncheck the "Quotes" box from all your forums (and new forums you create) in AUT's forum manager in the admincp.

SBlueman 04-06-2011 05:34 AM

How sql intense is this modification? Could it slow down my site's performance?

DragonByte Tech 04-06-2011 01:13 PM

We've had no reports of this mod slowing down forums :)

LightFatality 04-10-2011 12:06 PM

Is there any way to remove the quotes/thread tag tabs off the profile, but still keep the mentions?

I read to disable the member profile block, but that took everything off. =/

DragonByte Tech 04-10-2011 12:13 PM

Unfortunately that's not possible at this time, sorry :(

Taringa! CS 04-10-2011 01:53 PM

Hi

I've got some questions

1) Quote a post to alert a user

Sends a forum notification to that user

This means that when someone quotes me i'll be get noticed with a notification?

2) Tag an user in a thread to alert them to the thread

Could this be turn off and only use post notifications?

Thanks

You can turn it off from every forum you create via the admincp :)

Ok, thank you for the speedy reply :)

I was mostly curious since I saw one forum with only mentions (not the other two) so was hoping there was a way.

Fingers crossed for the future :)

I guess I am the first report. It pretty much crippled my site for a day when I had it installed. The issues went away when I disabled the modification. It's too bad, this modification had some real potential on my site....

LightFatality 04-10-2011 06:39 PM

Hm, is there any way to disable quote mentions? I realize we are stuck with having the tab on the profile but we don't want notifications just because we've been quoted. =/

I looked in the settings as well as around in forums (categories and direct forums) and I haven't seen anything relating to this modification at all in there.

Running 4.1.2

DragonByte Tech 04-10-2011 06:41 PM

Uncheck them from every forum in AUT's forum manager :)

Fillip

LightFatality 04-10-2011 06:48 PM

From what I have read that is only available in pro, correct? Otherwise I don't see any forum manager anywhere short of the default which doesn't reference aut at all.

Little uncertain though since it mentions lite with the category one.

I've looked in general settings for VB and found the gen settings for this mod there, but nowhere else.

DragonByte Tech 04-10-2011 06:51 PM

/admincp/usertag.php?do=forum

It's linked in the sidebar :)

Fillip

LightFatality 04-10-2011 06:53 PM

Ok, that explains why I cannot see it. I don't have access. :)

Contacting the superadmin now.

Thank you!

Great :)
The only problem was the profile block even with thread tagging disabled but i changed a bit of your great hooks and problem solved :D

Taringa! CS 04-10-2011 09:44 PM

I found a bug

I was testing and posted

@dunnoexists

and user @dunno was tagged... and [link]@dunno[/link]exists was posted

edit

Another one

email@domain.com.ar

@domain gets linked

DragonByte Tech 04-11-2011 10:04 PM

Please turn on the ; for mentions, then these issues will not appear :)

Fillip

Morrus 04-12-2011 07:50 AM

We get some apostrophes being turned into hashtags. Not all of them, but enough that users are mentioning it. For example:

Quote:

tell them where you&#8217d like to see

DragonByte Tech 04-12-2011 10:49 AM

That's already been fixed, please re-download and re-upload the files :)

For the record, it's a Mac-only problem, because Mac apostrophes are Unicode as opposed to ISO like every other OS.

Fillip

I'm not on a Mac and it happened to me. :)

Are the pro files updated as well? Same version number over there.

DragonByte Tech 04-12-2011 06:35 PM

Yeah they are :)
