K!nG 06-22-2012 05:21 AM

I installed this mod and when i go for settings & i save them i don't see anything and when i log in as a user or admins i don't see any message forcing me to read the thread i added in the settings. Not sure where i am doing something wrong. Thanks for the help in advance :)

Hippy 06-22-2012 09:37 AM

did you set a thread to force read
thats all I can think of ..
weird

K!nG 06-22-2012 05:28 PM

Yes i put in the thread id (that's what it says to put in thread id) unless i have to put in the complete link for the thread ???

K!nG 07-01-2012 04:55 PM

Weird but i re-installed to see if it works or not and it finally did :)

patracy 07-10-2012 12:07 PM

Anyone have any problem adding a new thread to view? I wanted to make the moderated user group have to re-read the rules again, but every time I click save, I'm transported back to the main page where only my two original force thread views are shown.

Can anyone like make a video on exactly how to do this?

I had the same issue, I was entering a wrong post ID. Put a correct post ID and it will work.

Pure Dope 07-23-2012 03:32 PM

There should be a checkbox on every thread that you can just check if you want everyone to read it.

LgsOfChampions 07-26-2012 08:40 PM

yea does not work on 4.2 p2 either. I've had this on many sites and worked perfectly. Hopefully we can get this revived!

I'm don't know what min/max version values I'm looking for, to change.

It still doesn't work on my 4.2 PL2.

Hippy 07-30-2012 09:45 PM

Just checked there is no min max version.. the
Code:

<dependencies>
        </dependencies>

is blank so it will not check the version of your forum
should just install

and yes works with the latest vb

A little custom style problem.

Any pointers appreciated.

Where might I locate the needed changes to the attached pictures.

In picture 1 - there is no underline or indicator of where to click to go to the thread. (One of my older members was choked because he could not locate where to go)

To save future problems I'd like to have the initial screen look like picture 2. (It only shows like this with a mouse hover - otherwise it looks like picture 1.)

Any help?

Hippy 08-03-2012 11:55 PM

change the Link Text Decoration
in your stylevar for your style under global

you can change the Link Color, Link Text Decoration, Link Hover Color , Link Hover Text Decoration ,
set it bold
make it blink etc..
so they will notice it..

Hi Folks,

Just installed the hack. Every thing went smooth. However when I clicked on Threads & Posts ==> Force Read Thread, I get

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Doesn't look like an error from the mod it self but I have no clue. Can someone please help me to fix this. Thanks.

version: 4.2 PL2

Hippy 08-04-2012 01:28 PM

I can peek..if you still did not fix it
and see what I come up with ..
pm me details

AK47- 08-04-2012 04:57 PM

Love this to be updated to vb4.2.0 to fix bugs. ETC it works for like a day or two then begins to redirect people to a random url because of VBSEO. Please look at the issues and resolve please OP

Same here, in Firefox it works great, in Safari, or Chrome it's all screwed up.

Just to let you guys know, this mod will not allow talpatalk to work if you have it installed. I had to uninstall this mod so that tapatalk worked again. Bummer!

This mode also have conflict with vBSEO Sitemap - you need to desable it if you want to log into vBSEO Sitemap config....
Sad that developer do not support it :(

Pure Dope 12-07-2012 09:41 AM
