There's a comparable mod out for 3.x so we have no plans to release this for vB3 at this time.

Another question: I changed my username using the mod, and was unable to change it back through it. I changed the field in the database back to the original user name. Is there anything that is affected by the mod?

That'd be the Username Reuse Delay setting in vBulletin.

You can change it back without the delay from the profiles in your AdminCP. I changed mine, then changed it back immediately through the AdminCP.

Can this be linked with your own vBactivity and/or vBcredits product? So peoiple can earn/buy their username change?

Is there a paid version as well? If yes, then what extra functions are in that version?

Is it possible to only display the user name history to moderators and admins?

There's no integration with other products at this time, sorry :(

Sure, edit the "Member Profile: Display Username History Tab" plugin to the following:

Change X,Y,Z to the usergroups that you'd like to be able to see the tab.

Will you ever support add this? I mean why no integration for your owns products? It will make them more valuable. :)

Fresh install on 4.1.3 Configured user groups. No tab to show user name history. Does this require at least 1 change for the tab to show? Where does one change their name?

Missing tab? Works just fine on my 4.1.4 board...

I can't find the username history tab anywhere within the users profile.. I reinstalled multiple times and I checked all my themes.. Nothing.

I believe the tab only appears if they have changed there user name and there is a history. Otherwise nothing shows.

I've changed my name over 10x. No tab appears, sorry mate.

Try:

• On a completely default vBulletin test site, or
• Disabling all modifications except for the username change mod

Other than another modification interfering with this one, I couldn't think of any other reason why it wouldn't show, but it shows up on my 4.1.4 installation, and my site has quite a few modifications...

I'm an Admin and usergroup class is set with correct permissions ...

Member changed his name and everything went fine, however, no history tab shows up in his profile showing activity and the change. :confused:

Any help would be appreciated ... :)

Installed and seems to be working on 4.1.3.

I'd like to use the modification solely to display username change history in the profile, and continue changing names manually in the Admin CP. The option to change your username is still displayed in 'Edit Profile' though, even when it is disabled; it just gives an error message. Is there any way to remove the field completely?

You can disable the relevant plugin from the Plugin Manager.
