and also for forum 1 to show only sub forum 1,2and 3 without 4,5,6.... only tagged. i have a big forum-sub forum site and it fills it with all the subforums whici i don't want. i want to select only what i need

Craig2 01-20-2011 12:11 AM

It would be great, if it´ll be possible to set up the amount of columns to a category with sub-forums also. For example: a forum which is marked as a forum = 2 columns, a forum which is marked as a category = 4 columns...

Dr.osamA 01-22-2011 09:09 PM

thank you bro

good work

5 stars + installed

Does anyone know how I can even out colums?

I have two colums setup:

6 on the left, and 4 on the right...

I would like to balance them out....

how can I do this...?

horussjr 01-24-2011 04:29 PM

it would balance automatically. go in settings and choose two columns. it should work well. check to not have "hidden" forums (like active only for some usergroups), i'm not sure about this

sross 01-26-2011 07:50 PM

I have found a bug on older browsers such as firefox2, the main forums list truncates right after the first forum containing subforums. You can test by viewing it here with firefox2:

http://spoon.net/Firefox2

Not that I care much about firefox2 users but i do have some people on these ancient systems complaining. It could be an easy fix?

Amiga Harrison 02-03-2011 11:35 PM

Since upgrading to vB 4.1.1 and the latest version of this plugin, I have to set the number of columns to arrange sub-forums into to 1 higher than it actually displays, so for my forums I have it set to 3 and it displays 2 columns. I tested with 4 and it showed 3.

Also, you state " "Depth of Sub-Forums" to "1"" but I need to show a depth of 2 levels for my content. I have tried it set to 1 or 2 and it seems to work the same regardless. Why is it important this is set to 1?

Deirdre 02-06-2011 07:32 PM

Works perfect for me on 4.1.1. No issues here.

OldSchoolDSL 02-18-2011 02:30 PM

Un-installed

This really was a nice modification, but the default layout seems to look more cleaner for me.

Sushubh 02-18-2011 10:22 PM

Same with me...

Any solution?

Lifesupporters 02-21-2011 04:26 AM

Same exact problem here. It would be nice if this modification could be configured to ignore certain styles; hopefully this is planned down the road.

The rest works very well, do not give errors, it's great, too bad it does not work in mobile version.

fishinstud 03-02-2011 01:20 AM

LOL @ mobile theme. Whose Smart phone has a problem with the regular. Thanks for the cat manager. Installed on 4.1.2 before today version.

SeeLand 03-02-2011 09:05 AM

Any update to work for mobile version vbulletin 4.1.2, something?
I really like it because it is one of the few who do not give errors in html.
We expect an UPDATE?

Same here.
WIth the previous version of this add-on, the Mobile Style worked -but the subforums was placed at the outer edge of the page, which didn't look good. With the current version, there's only white space.

QuickQuestion 03-07-2011 05:44 PM

Anyone working on getting this to work properly with 4.1.2? That'd be sweet.

Sai01 04-16-2011 05:38 PM

cool but how do i show last post in forum display listing. i have the subforum in columns as i wanted but no last post over towards the right.... just empty like default VB. what do i have to edit to have that like what i'm seeing in this thread?

jnmann 04-17-2011 03:02 PM

Is it possible to get one of the forum categories to use this mod and leave other sections as per default?

Khriz 04-19-2011 05:16 PM

Hello

I have installed the "VSA Sub Forum Manager
I found the most optimal and most advanced

but in some categories is well in 2 columns
in others it looks good in 3 columns
in others like me have no columns q

As I can do to use this mod regardless in each category?
Is it possible?

PD: A response will serve ..
Please!

Khriz 04-19-2011 07:01 PM

I'm not the only one who wants the mod works differently in each category

Example:

Category1 = 2 columns
Category2 = 4 columns
categoria3 = no columns

discodoran 04-20-2011 08:34 AM

hey mate
first off awesome mod
just a quick question is there any way to make the columns wider so all my text fits into one line.

or even hide certain subforums.

your help is much appreciated cheers

Same problem for me, have had to disable because it conflicts with the mobile edition.

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1305536255

Its the link to my last subforum that is placed on top of the logo.

This conclicts so the rigth side of the website becomes blank :(

EDIT: This screenshot is taken from the desktop machine

slinky 05-16-2011 01:34 PM

It's a great hack. I've disabled it after long time usage because the output is not optimal (coding wise). I've replaced it by manually adding a css entry to space subforums.
