As for bank transfer, why not just get their account details and pay through your own bank? Would be much easier and secure IMO

Another user said its in the style vars, under forumbits_border. Its not, that color is black... this boarder is white.

I set up a subscription of 5|12, which reports as 5 dollars for 12 months...which SHOULD mean 5 dollars a month for 12 months...but it submits to paypal as 5|12|12, which is 5 dollars every 12 months, 12 times (12 years)...that's not quite right. Any ideas on what I can do to change this?

the actual donation systems seems to work fine using the link in the navbar.
but when i tick the radio button to enable the donation bar the forum doesnt display at all, just get a blank screen on http://www.mysite.co.uk/forum/forum.php

Same here, no donation bar is visible, even with "yes" checked under enable.

I see it. Is it possible to move the bar down under the Forumlist?? And if so, how?

Anyone using this for donations seems to successfully be able to make payment, but their usergroup isn't upgraded per the settings. All the settings appear to be properly enabled and this hack used to work. Any thoughts?

Same problems here. Usergroup change doesn't work, and the "return to merchant" page doesn't work either, even after I modded the plugin to supposedly use a custom cmps page.

I get this from Paypal ... not sure what I need to set up for that.

I'd also like to know how the subscriptions are supposed to work. I followed the directions in the settings using for example 10|6 which you'd think would mean subscribe for 6 months at ?10 per month, but what is actually happening is people are subscribing and paying ?10 every 6 months. How would I set it up so they pay ?10 per month for 6 months?

I would understand that formula you are using as $10 / 6 months.
Why not change it to $60 / 6 months? or smaller?

Because often people want to donate monthly and not have a big chunk paid out.

Tried to change a setting in it and it says permission denied now. Tried uninstalling it then reinstalling it, nothing. Uninstalling it till there is a fix for it.

Thank you for this mod. It's working great over here. I've only one question. The users who donate an amount for examples six months, they will get an additional user group. After the six months they still on that user group. Is there an possibility that they automaticly remove the additional user group?

I've only just become aware that this is what actually happening - not sure if it's a mistake in the phrasing or the code but its deffinately very missleading.

Can you add the option to pay monthly for X months please? I know my users are reluctant to sign up for an open-ended system.

Is there any plan to intergrate with the PayPal API so it's not neccessary to have PMs going to users after navigating to PayPal? - A long shot I know but I thought I'd ask.

I'm looking for a donation system that admin can set every user on the site can have a donation link to their profiles so they can get donnations.

That's a great mod but I've a trouble, I force that user can only select a suggest amount but I've some users that send me less the minimum, like 1 Eur, I don't understand how they do it but they do it and I found it in the donator list with 1 eur... :|

I'm having a bit of an issue with this mod. The donation link works great, and people are using it. However, the donation goal bar never moves off zero and the users don't get automatically promoted to the contributor secondary group I set up to recognize them. I thought at first that maybe these settings would be updated via a vb cron job, but 36 hours after the first donations I still have zero on the donation bar and no users added to the contributors group. I've poured through the settings several times, and they aren't that complicated... pretty much self explanatory so I can't see why these elements are not being updated.

Yes I've been having this issue for some time now. There are many perks to being a paid member on my board and if I'm not around to promote a new subscriber they're sitting waiting for me to come back to manually promote them.

EVEN when i click the donation and don't put anything in, it stills send me a pm. I want it to send me a pm when money is donated, not just clicking on the donate link. Thoughts?

If its within Paypal, whereabouts is it please as I've trawled through my Paypal account and can't find anything or anywhere to change from encrypted to non encrypted.

One question: The default place location for it be shown is "index", which makes it appear on forum home. However, other pages based upon index (by other mods), such as easy forms, the donar bar appears.

Is there any way to make the donar bar appear only on forum home?

This mod would be even more awesome, if it is allowed more than one source for the funds.
For example donate to the forum costs and another, donate to the a toy run or such
charitable event that the community may participate in. And to keep track of how much was
donated to each source.
