Nice, i have psd file?

Jabong82 02-16-2010 05:03 PM

Hi I installed the mod and it looks like a great mod but I have a problem.

Everything looks like it installed fine, however when I go to select a "mood", nothing happens and I get redirected away from the page and to:

www.mydomainname.com/index.php

Do you know why this may be? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Edit: NEVERMIND I FIXED IT! GREAT MOD!

iPaul 02-16-2010 09:39 PM

Thanks, one of my favourite mods, installed and working great

Alexandre.R 02-17-2010 04:25 PM

There is a bug with this with the 4.0.2 version...
The list where you select moods from can only be text, not displayed in images, even after selecting images display and rebuilding style.

But otherwise still works

1. Can the mood be edited through the profile too?
2. How can I remove the link from the navigation bar and have it added to somewhere in the profile?
3. I used "Show Images" for the shelley folder but images don't show up. See the image below:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

The path to the images is correct -> shelley_93x30
I also pressed the rebuild style link.

vmoods folder have to be in root

Pro-eSports.com 02-18-2010 03:57 AM

The vMoods folder is in the root already. The 2 folders with the images are in the vMoods folder too.

Same on my board with the Shelley-images. Classic works fine though. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Great mod thanks.

I'm on 4.0.2 with the shelly images and don't have a problem. Not sure what might be going on for you, but the mod does work still on my board.

With IE client? It can be related to the size of the Shelley-images, and that IE doesn't handle the horizontal slidebar.

Maybe I'm missing the problem? But this works in IE8 and FF3.5 and FF3.6 on my site here: http://www.darkhandofvalor.com/

Feel free to poke around as I'm not sure why mine would work and others do not.

Actually I tested it at work and there everything looks smooth (64-bit Windows 7 ultimate with IE 8 on ATI gfx-card). The only difference between these systems are the graphics card (nVidia at home) and that IE does not try to apply a horizontal slidebar on my system at work for some reason (you can look at the attachment).

ChopSuey 02-23-2010 12:21 PM

This has conflict with vB 4 Supercharged! Also i cannot get moods to show up on forumhome ::(

Black-CA 02-23-2010 03:23 PM

I'm missing one phrase:

PHP Code:

setting_vmoods_list_desc

version 4.1.0004

I found out why it was showing up differently at work and at home despite that i used the same OS and version of IE. At home "compatibility-mode" was turned on, and that mode activated the horizontal scrollbar so that the images screwed up. Maybe the developer can try both modes and check out the difference.

OK I have upgraded to the very latest VB and now I get a double drop down in my navbar for vbmoods. I tried doing my own navbar and disabling the optin to auto edit navbar but, ya didn't work it showed up but wouldn't let me click on it

Do you have a mod called newsletter installed? I found that for some reason that mod and this mod don't agree with each other and if I have them both enabled I get double vmoods not sure why but, what I did was just disabled the newsletter and will bring it up only when I need it..kinda sucks but will have to do for now hope that helps

Yes, you are right. WHen I disable the newsletter, everything returns perfect. Why is that happening?

dianna 02-28-2010 06:52 PM

I wish I knew but, for some reason this mod and the view your threads and post mod do not like to play nice with the newsletter!

BizAdventure 02-28-2010 11:38 PM

I can verify....

Works with Firefox, IE8 with Compatibility View NOT checked.

IE7 and IE6 are no gos.

Any chance of a workaround for IE7 (don't care about 6)??

Works perfectly for us with IE7

BizAdventure 03-01-2010 12:52 PM

Rob,

Interesting...there must be some setting in IE7 that I have not found. The view I have in IE7 is the same view I get in IE8 with compatibility view checked.

If someone knows what setting in IE7 needs to be checked or unchecked, let me know and I will pass it on to my forum users.

Jon

Rob F 03-01-2010 04:57 PM

Sorry Biz, I've no idea about settings or this compatibility view thing you've mentioned.

BizAdventure 03-01-2010 07:21 PM

That is fine...except that is not the problem. I can verify several users with IE8 who do not have Compatibility View checked and still cannot see the icons without a grey box over them, while others who have IE7 can see it! Weird. It MUST be something with the Javascript. Dev or anyone else?

adreen 03-02-2010 11:32 AM

downloaded!
is it possible for me to use my own icons?

masterross 03-03-2010 09:35 PM

I have strange problem!
I had before the 3.8 version of your hack but uninstalled.
Now I installed this version but it shows the mood images from older version and when I try to chose the mood it's just redirect me to index and nothing's changed.
Also I've tried to remove the vbmoods folder and even removed the images are still displaying in navbar ?!?

Any ideas?

This was actually working fine for me earlier and for some reason it doesn't now. I have the same issue where after I rebuild the templates I get only blank in the navbar, and when I click anything it returns me back to the index.php page.

Anyone know why this may be? Thank you.

Edit: I found the fix for the image problem (had to edit css file with URLs), but I still have the redirect problem. Every time I click an image I am just redirected to the homepage.

I don't have supercharged mod or whatever, but I am not sure why I keep getting redirected. Thank you again.

archet1337 03-06-2010 07:18 AM

I found this on the first page:

Code:

<li><a href="javascript://" class="popupctrl">{vb:phrase vmoods_my_mood} (<span id="vmoods-mine">{vb:var bbuserinfo.vmood}</span>)</a>
<ul class="subnav">
  <vb:each from="vmoods_list" value="mood">
    <li class="{vb:var mood}"><a class="vmood" href="index.php?" title="{vb:var mood}">{vb:var mood}</a></li>
  </vb:each>
</ul>
</li>

I'm using that navbar from HiO iWay theme as well, but when I add the code everything looks ok except for no dropdown menu.. please advice.

Looks like this:
http://www.digi-tech.org/images/dive...s_dropdown.png

Here is the droplinebar.css file
Code:

.droplinebar{
overflow: hidden;
}

.droplinebar ul{
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
float: left;
width: 100%;
font: bold 13px Arial;
background: #464646 url(ht-button.gif) center center repeat-x; /*default background of menu bar*/
}

.droplinebar ul li{
display: inline;
}

.droplinebar ul li a{
float: left;
color: #FFFFFF;
padding: 9px 11px;
text-decoration: none;
}

.droplinebar ul li a:visited{
color: #FFFFFF;
}

.droplinebar ul li a:hover, .droplinebar ul li .current{ /*background of main menu bar links onMouseover*/
color: #9b9b9b;
background: transparent url(ht-over2.png) no-repeat center top;
}

/* Sub level menus*/
.droplinebar ul li ul{
position: absolute;
z-index: 100;
left: 0;
top: 0;
background: #3d3d3d; /*default background of menu bar*/
}

/* Sub level menu links style */
.droplinebar ul li ul li a{
11px Verdana;
padding: 6px;
padding-right: 15px;
margin: 0;
border-bottom: 0px solid #ffffff;

11px Verdana;
