After I installed this, people began to have problems with attachments in posts, uploading from the post and it going automatically into the post inline.

Even I have trouble as admin.

I had to uninstall it and there are still troubles. I'm at my whit's end trying to fix whatever it messed up.

There is no way our addon caused this. Chances are whatever caused the problem happened at the sme time.

If you have "DigitalPoints Threads Avatars"-Mod installed, too - please delete this add-on. This causes problems with this mod. I don't know why, but then this mod is function (Attachments upload function)

Is it possible that this mod can be updated so it checks if the member is male or female?
I would like to have 2 different default avatars (male/female)

I'm on the hunt for a random avatar plugin but they all seem to be broken.

From what it looks like, it is just the avatar that you set as the default. Not a random one.

Installed in 4.2.0 PL2 worked perfect!

I imported from phpBB2 and the avatars showed nothing, now they at least have an image.

Hi, I am running (vBulletin 4.2.0 Patch Level 2) I installed and the Avatar unkown.gif shows up in my forums and in friends list but for some reason not on the Members List.. Any suggestions??

You could do, however I didnt.

The addon doesn't make any drastic database altering queries on install or removal. You should be fine.

Hi GeekyDesigs... Could this be different based on profile attributes? For instance I have male and female attributes which are required. Is it possible that we can show a default male images for that males and a default female image for females?

I'm thinking this 'mod request' would have to list all attributes and allow an admin to associate them with a particular image.

Love the mod, but wished it would also put a unknown.pic for the profile image, and place the same unknown.pic for the avatar on the profile page...:(

if you want to change the avatar, then you could change the picture in the vb root in images/misc/unknown.gif to any picture you like, but remember to rename your picture to unknown.gif

Actually I wanted to show a male or female silouette based on a defined profile attribute (Male or Female).

Kinda like Facebook does. But its not that important. I just thought it cool.

Great mod. I took the default avatar from vB5 and resized to 80x80. Looks a little bit nicer than the vB4 unknown.gif and could still be either male or female.

This error came directly after installing this add on, I have looked everywhere for "product-gd_davatar_2.0.3" without any luck,

I installed the "bt_new_members_module" which worked fine, and because I wanted to have default avatars for users without, I uploaded the product "product-gd_davatar_2.0.3"

Following this I am get 500 internal server error on the admincp, the main forum and pages are appearing perfectly. http://awesomemetalbands.com/forum.php

I have gone through all the basics disabling products in the config.php, removed all includes/xml files and no luck.

after the error I create an entire backup of the FTP this has taken about 2 hours so I can troubleshoot.

Any idea why the default avatar will show on a users profile page regardless whether they have decided to change their avatar themself? Also it only shows the default avatar on this page when signed in, if you are signed out it will display their custom avatar.

Although it works fine on the postbit and elsewhere. Hopefully someone can come up with a fix, i really cannot find anything that is causing this.
