I've fixed that quickly. Simply upgrade "umg_page.php".

This message apply, 'cause there are no ID3 tags inside the MP3.

I can't add public categories when I click on admin -> categories. I've juste category structure.

Same thing for private categories. I've created 2 private catagories. But now, clicking on Tools >> Category, I've also private category structure.

You can have more categories, when you convert from vBiGallery, PhotoPost or PhotoPlog (here ALL categories will be converted)

some assistance please:

On the first import from phtoplog, categories and photos were mixed up (probably due to the big number of categories I have)

When it finished from converting there was a 500 server error when tryong to resize....thus it never resized them.

When I tried to rebuild thunbails form the admin menu, even when putting 2 per cycle I was getting a database error (which probably has to do with the load of the server)

So I thought of making another attempt to convert but noticed it duplicates categories and now cant see a way how to delete all media and restart converting again (from phtoplog).

Last but not least where can someone pay for the PRO version

Error 500 - I think it's server timeout.

Which database error you get ? If this error comes "after a while" of rebuilding - you can start it again (see the browsers address and substract 1 of the number.

When converting, you can set "Delete all existing Categories".

the error of the resizing comes immediately (first cycle). When I do it manually its after a while. ANyway will retry with forum locked thus fewere chances of timeout

One question before I proceed and just to make sure: delete all existing categoris will delete from the UMG correct? By no means I want the original phtoplog categories to be deleted.

ANd lastly, is there a trick to make the converter take the right files in the right categories without mixing them up that much?
(its really a lot of photos and a lot of categories....)

No, when you "delete all categories" - only UMG categories will deleted. I don't delete some files or database entries from photoplog/photopost.

I liked to know if this Mod is possible to support MKV files playback? If yes, it is perfect.
If no, how can I add support for MKV format media playback. Thank you.

It's not supported by UMG (and also NOT tested).
If it's the same format as AVI it works - but I think "Matroska" isn't AVI compatible.

Ahhhh. You need to create a link to the UMG in your navbar - that's all.

Ich habe UMG auf meiner Homepage Flugzone.ch installiert und bin damit eigentlich zu frieden.
leider laufen die Filme nicht. Das heisst wenn ich einen Film hoch laden kann, kommt eine Fehlermeldung: Datei zu gross, falsches Format oder sonstiger Fehler.

Wenn ich einen Film zum Beispiel per Youtube Link hoch laden will kommt folgende Meldung:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in d:\www\www1108\includes\class_umgmedia.php on line 10

Was könnte dies ein. Ich nehme an die erste Meldung ist weil der Server keine Grösseren Dateien zulässt. aber wieso kommt der Parse Error ?

I think you didn't upload the "umg_gallery" folder. inside is the umg_functions.php

On my page, you can select the english language at the left bottom. It will cost 44 Euros

That was it. I had renamed the folder to "gallery". It is working now.

Installed and uploaded images with no problem but when I upload Media(video) I get an error telling me they are to big. Went into admincp change setting for the size of media and I am still getting the error. No matter How high I take the setting its the same thing.

Anything else I need to change?

I installed this and set all usergroups to be able to create a private gallery. Yet when I login and look at the gallery page, I see no option to create a private gallery.

I am obviously blind.

Click on it, and you see a new link: "categories" there you can create your own "private" or "public" categories

I installed this and it seems to be working, but I have a couple of questions.

I know there are limits to the amount of categories I can have in the FREE version. What are the limits for users private galleries?

See the screencap on. What is the advantage to users being able to select usergroups that get access. Can I remove this option?

Why give users the option to block their gallery from admin access?

The most I can imaging they need to be able to do is:

- Category Name
- Sort Order
- Category Description
- Password
- vBB Friends Only

No, you can't. This is required in the whole gallery.

User can't block an Admin. That means, they can block the Usergroup "Administrators", but ...
... UMG uses own Admin/Mod Rights and User's CAN NOT block those groups *g

Then why give them the option to block an admin? why even have it on the selection at all?

Also, when I go to the "ACP | Ultimate Media Gallery | Gallery Permissions" area, I see the Moderator, Super Moderator & Administrator usergroups in there 4 times each witht he exact same choices.
