So far the mod is installed and I placed the file Cyb_Banners (with swf in it) in the forums folder. I goto manage banners enter the site url....example...123.com. Under banner...Cyb_Banners/bannerflash.swf When I save I get a black arrow where the banner should be. If I click on either the blue or orange arrow under banner I get
http://123.com/forums/cyb_banners/bannerflash.swf (not actual site) but is comes up as webpage not found.

Could use some help.......Fustrated and learning

Do the images / flash have to be in the cyb_banners folder or can I pull the images in from photobucket..? If so how..?

That is just a default value in that field. Input the full url to your banner in there.

Example: http://www.photobucket.com/myalbum/mybanner.jpg

You can host your banners on your server in any folder you wish or from another site.

Is there any reason why the display order 1-20 would be correct however the pictures being displayed are not in order..?

Tried "save display order" several times...

IN ACP the continuous mode has to be selected...!!

For everyone with the "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing." error, either this error is unfixable or the maker just doesn't want to fix it. But to get round it you can just edit and add banners via phpMyAdmin in the <forum prefix>cybbanners table.

I've some questions :

In duration, what we are supposed to enter? Is it in minutes/seconds or what?

I've tried keeping 30 in one and 5 in other, but both banner were being displaying for around 15-20seconds.

I was able to figure it out and posted the findings.

It's showing banner on my site vb advanced links without extra changes.

Cvber, why isnt this working in the footer?

Tried adding the variable to VBA, didnt work...
Tried adding $GLOBALS[cyb_flashimagebanners] and that works in a VBA module but still not in the footer.
Tried the regular $cyb_flashimagebanners on its own in the footer and still didnt work.

Seems I can get it to work everywhere but the footer.

Any ideal why?

I've installed the feature to my site and added the banner in the 'common templates/footer'. Now it all works perfect except that when I open any thread on my site for page one the banner graphic disappears, but on page two and beyond it's fine. I also notice that on this first page of the thread it carriage returns the '#1' post link so it appears as below:

Would Like you Assistance in The Following .On My Forum I Use a Template/Skin From vbskinworks .The theme in Question is Emerald .If i change The Skin Of My Forum To Default VB One i Can See The Product Installed in Action And The Banners are Viewable ,But if i Enable The Theme i Cannot See It ,What File I Need To Place The Code Into index.php in root or some other file

Hi and thanks for the MOD, unfortunately I cannot get the image url to operate when you click the image.

When you place the mouse over the image you get the image title but no URL.

I cannot find any advice as to how I should set this up. My VBB version is 3.6.10.

I just installed the Banner Rotator but now my Quicklinks doens'n work anymore... They don't appear?

This is the error I get (in dutch, with "my" translation to English between "()" ):

Anyone who can help me? When I turn the mod Off, the quicklinks works back again?

when I turn this option off: Add Banners automatically to forum header (top right), the quicklinks works again, but without a link to the banners?

I've read all the posts in this topic and see that turning off that option works by several people.

Now I only have to place the code for the link to the bannermanager in the quicklinks.
Only if I look at the navbartemplate I don't see the where to insert the code?
Where can I find the navbar-template exactly? I think I'm looking at the wrong template...

Any ideas on how to sort of install this twice and let it handle a 468x60 spot and a 728x90 spot in totally separate locations, separate banners, separate deals for advertisers.

I'm trying it out now, as for as I can tell we can use any size banner but it only shows where we add the $cyb_flashimagebanners call. Am I wrong? Can we let this show up in two spots but the 468x60 banners only in spot A and the 728x90 banners in spot be, that would be a great solution as well.

Wouldn't it be great if we could just install this twice *somehow* and do what I suggested? Was this asked already? I only ask because this is the mod I'm going with for that 468x60 spot and would love for it to handle the 728x90 spot as well. Thanks.
