Below, I have attached the updated helpcenter.php file. No changes, just added protection for the Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) -- recent security risk in vBulletin.
|
Thanks for that Jase :)

Thanx so much PAUL, as I don't think I'll be upgrading to 3.7 anytime soon - we have waaaaay to many customizations on JPiC Forum to even consider it at the moment it goes gold - BUT at the same time - could really use the Help Center - so thanx for the 3.6.x version ;) Jacquii. |
And now .. it's the best .. ;)
thank's for the great Mod. Sure it's Installed .. :) |
Please report any bugs you find so we can make HelpCenter as bug free as possible! :)
|
Hi,
i have installed 3.7.0 RC4 and i get the following error: Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error. Can anyone help me, please? Sorry my english is not so good :/ |
Ok, try the following product file. Remember to uninstall your previous product file, before installing this one. Let me know how it goes.
|
Ahhh!!! great it works perfectly!
|
That's great! I'll get Paul renew the product file.

I have updated the download to include Jason's latest product file, thanks Jason.
DubaiHost, I will try and replicate the bug now, if I am able to, I will try and find a solution. Thanks, Paul. Edit: I have just tried to re-create the problem and everything was ok, it displayed as it should, basically if you press the Enter key it display on the next line as it should. Thanks, Paul. |

Updated settings on PaulSonny so you should not be able to create a ticket.
Thanks, Paul. |
It's the same ..
check this ticket .. http://www.paulsonny.com/forum/helpc...o=ticket&tid=2 you will find all the words in the same line .. |
I dont understand, i've just edited one of the replies to that ticket above and pressed enter and hit save and its saved correctly.
I will ask Jason to see what he thinks. Is anybody else having this problem? Thanks, Paul. |

Try overwriting your existing helpcenter.php file with the one I have.
Thanks, Paul. |

very strange in deed.
Like I said, will see what Jason thinks. Thanks, Paul. |
Hello,
I can confirm this. I noticed this a few betas back, but couldn't understand why the text wasn't formating correctly. If you make a space, it automatically puts the text onto the same line. Trying to find a fix for this in the next release. |

Even if it couldn't fixed, you did a great job with this Mod. Really thanks for it and for the great support .. thanks again. IT TECH |
Dude its cool but if you can add attachment support it will be best...
PS: If you can add support for can not reply to closed tickets too. |
bahisyeri, the attachment feature will be included into the paid' version. :)

Paul is setting up the members area, where you will be able to download our software. Once HelpCenter goes gold, we'll start work on the 'paid version. Also, we will open a hacks/modfications forum, where members can submit their hacks/mods for HelpCenter. However, we will not be able to support modified code, in the event something goes wrong.

It seems you are trying to use the package above on a vBulletin 3.6 Installation, when it is meant for 3.7.
I may suggest uninstalling and reinstalling with the 3.6 version. Thanks, Paul. |
Beta 5 Released. We hope this to be the last beta.
With regards to the guests being able to view other guests ticket, I have made it so that it depends on IP address for the time being until I can come up with a more long term solution. Thanks, Paul. |
Hi,
I reuploaded all the new files, uinstalled the previous helpdesk and then imported the new one - however it looks like this  |
Same issue here as Powerful_Rogue
|
Seems when I started another project I wasnt as careful as I thought I was and it mucked up a lot of phrases. (Transferred them to another product) Meaning the phrases did not export within the product.
Anyway, I'm not entirely sure whether I have caught all the phrases, so if anyone would be willing to try this product and tell if any further phrases are still missing and I will do my best to get everything back to normal. I appreciate your patience. Thanks, Paul. |
Thanks, that seems to have fixed most of them, but I found a couple;
ADMIN CP > HelpCenter> Department Management > Add New Department/Edit > Update returns Can not find phrase helpcenter_acp_redirect. It still works fine though. Additionally, ADMIN CP > Usergroups > Usergroups manager > Edit user Group X Can Manage Tickets *BLANK* Can Close Any Ticket EDIT: Also, when adding a new ticket, there is no Priority before the : Low/Medium/High. EDIT 2: I also now get a db error when I try to create a new ticket. it says the table helpcenter_department doesn't exist, it does. I have prefixes on my tables, so maybe that's causing the issue. Also, when I deleted all my departments, there is still a blank drop down box when adding a new ticket |
vBulletin Options > [Also a blank line in the menu]
|
Further update, try this one guys and let me know.
With regards to the DB error, remove previous version and import this as fresh. Thanks, Paul. |
The phrases are fixed, but the DB error is still occurring for me.
I uninstalled the old product and checked the tables were dropped, they were. I installed the new product and the tables are back, but it still comes up saying it doesn't exist. The table it says doesn't exist, doesn't exist, as it doesn't have the prefix I've assigned it (it's databasename.helpcenter_department instead of databasename.prefix_helpcenter_department). If anyone else with table prefixes could post saying if they're getting errors too, or even if it's working for them that would help. |
Is it possible for me to test on your website?
Thanks, Paul. |
Fresh install and was surprised to find everything is disaray. Read through and see there were some small complications. Will wait until things are back in sorts.
Thanx for a great modification. |
I have updated the original download to include the latest product file to fix a few errors I made.
With regards to your problem Irish, I have uninstall and re-install the HelpCenter product on PaulSonny.com and it worked without any Database Errors so i'm wondering if its something your doing. Can you provide me with a link? Thanks, Paul. |
In ACP > HelpCenter Main Settings I do not see any options to set up any departments. Maybe some place else?
NM see there is also a Help Center in the left menu. Can you possibly make all the configuration options in 1 location? |
