I have looked into that and decided it would be more of a headache than it is worth to add external pages support. If I add VBAdvanced support, then I have to worry if they change things later on and trying to keep up with that between versions, as well as support for whatever else comes along as external pages.
If vb adds support for those in the future, then this should pick it up fine as it uses the forumcache. |

Better late than never. ;)
If you have clicked install before, you would have gotten the update when it was released. It is a good habit to get into as it shows the hack authors they are appreciated as well as keeps you informed of bug fixes and updates. Just some food for thought. ;) |
Ill try and remember all of these things in the future.......................once again my apolagies to any authors that i may have forgotten to click install on.
Can I get the link to work somehow from , vBadvanced, PhotoPost, PhotoClassifieds, etc.?
You will have to set it up how you set up other links in those programs.
Hi Boofo,
In reference to the vbulletin.org sitemap, how do i create the New To Site and Need Help section under the sitemap? Thanks. |
That is another hack by Princeton called GTFooter Info Panel. Check his profile.
Thank you :) installed..
Thanks to Brian at vBa, I was able to get the link working to the site map by adding 'info.php' to the footer replacement section in vBa.
I am unsure of how to get the sitemap linked form PP and PC. Can anyone help? No help from Photopost. |
The Site Map has worked with vba installed all along. What are you talking about with "the footer replacement section in vBa?"
maybe my this seems to be foolish, but I'll say it though, is it possible to make html site mab beside this one? ^^
thanks :) |
Not with this hack, no. Sorry. ;)
- Your mod worked perfectly in VB.
- From vBa the link to my site map, didn't open the site map, it opened a 404 page. It never worked with vba. - I added 'info.php' to the Footer Replacements settings, and the link from vba to the site map worked. - I have photopost and photoclassifieds integrated with vb. When I go to either program the link to the site map goes to a 404 page. I am trying to get the link, to open the sitemap, instead of the 404 page when using photopost and photoclassifieds. |
Since I don't use any of those programs, I can't tell you how to fix it, sorry. Maybe someone else who uses those programs will be able to help you in here.

new one ;) ^^ |
I won't be doing a new one, sorry.
I am trying to add this to Google's Webmaster tools for SiteMap inclusion. It tells me that I am using the wrong format and that it's not supported.
Any ideas?? |
This won't work for that. You need another mod for that. Read the thread as it was discussed in here somewhere, I think.
I have the Site Map MOD installed and I get the main site map page by going to the myforums/info.php?do=sitemap link. However, when I click on any of the RSS images I get a blank page. I have followed all of the intructions.
I figured it out. I had my forums turned "off". Turned on and everything is displaying. INSTALLED.
Ooops
anyway, many thanks for this I hope some one come up with that ^^ |
I had to uninstall as in the Site Map it showed forums I did not want my members to know existed. Like Staff forums and stuff.
You were able to see those forums because of the permissions. Regular users who could not see those forums could not see them in the site map either. The permissions work. Did you try logging out and looking at the site map?

Why do people never think of that? ;) |
Because it's easier and more fun to complain, of course. ;)
This is true. :)
That kind of thing makes me want to run out and code 11 more hacks. ;)
Your mod worked perfectly well (even in 3.6.8)
Thanks Boofo  ***INSTALLED*** |
You had doubts? LOL
Great product! I have but one slight problem, the rss button at the top of the site map leads me to a bare page with not even any source to view. What did I do wrong?

Feed is enabled but nothing else in that section of my admin cp has ever been configured. Are there certain settings I should change in order to make this work?
Is the feed button the only thing that isn't working? How about the feed button in each forum?
That might be the indicator.... I'm not seeing a feed button in the forums. But, to answer your question, all the other buttons are working.
PM me a link to your site map.
