I did that in my forum, i recommend that you use Macromedia Dreamweaver, so you can move all the code correctly! :)

Phalynx 03-01-2008 10:07 PM

This modification has been successfully nominated for the MOTM Vote! Thanks for your support.
If you like, you can vote here for vBExperience:

Also a big thanks for around 100 Installs! That's the motivation I need to continue to work on vBExperience :)

yes..

Phalynx 03-02-2008 06:03 PM

Did you modified the xperience_memberinfo_block? Please check that and revert if yes.

Also, did you set the points for thanks to 0?

Did you previously installed vBExperience and the thanks points were visible?

Can we get a sense as to how the level.xmls are calculated, I've got a small userbase, but quite active. I am currently using the "Huge" level and have more than a quarter of my userbase atleast at level 80 or higher.

How would I go about making my own level?

o0Hubba0o 03-03-2008 05:42 AM

This looks like something I might use once 3.7 gold (or even RC) is out. I get page not found with your demo and demo rankings links, the profile one works though.

First, you could try to decrease points the user earns. Take a look a the rankings, you will see what area has too much points, e.g. posts... Go to AdminCP, Settings, vBexperience: Points and decrease the points (in this example) for posts from 2 to 0.5
You have to run recounters otherwise the new settings will not be active.

Links corrected.

RedGTiVR6 03-03-2008 11:49 AM

Will this mod take into account all previous activity somehow or does it only work from the point it was installed forward?

Phalynx 03-03-2008 12:13 PM

It calculates ALL data, not only new one.

RedGTiVR6 03-03-2008 12:34 PM

Great! I've tagged this for when we upgrade to 3.7!

illithid 03-03-2008 01:27 PM

This mod looks really good. I want to download and install, but it is not supported for 3.6.8. Not sure yet if I will be upgrading to 3.7 either. That will depend on my users.

I am subscribing to this mod and hopefully there will be plans to release this for vbulletin versions lower than 3.7.

Phalynx 03-03-2008 01:59 PM

A version for vB3.6.x will be released at the end of next week, probably earlier.

-No, i haven't..

-3 point for thanks post !

-in 3.7.6 not display but in 3.7.5 yes , display thanks point

Phalynx 03-03-2008 02:42 PM

You mentioned 3.7.6 - so you did not installed 3.7.7?

kfiasche81 03-03-2008 02:47 PM

ye i have installed last versione 3.7.7 and not display..

Phalynx 03-03-2008 03:00 PM

That error has been fixed in 3.7.7 - if it does not show up you have maybe not upgraded correctly. Please re-update:
Copy all files from ZIP/upload to server, reimport product, revert all vBExperience templates.

kfiasche81 03-03-2008 04:48 PM

now it's ok...
i have update the counter..

Phalynx 03-04-2008 09:03 AM

Update! vBExperience has been updated to 3.7.8, offering great new features. This is a big step forward to a final version. I'm also proud to announce that vBExperience 3.7.8 is now compatible with vBulletin 3.6.8! The only difference to vBulletin 3.7 is the reduced profile due to the size of the old 3.6-profile. Of course all vBulletin 3.7 features like social groups etc... cannot be calculated.

Here are the changes:
3.7.8, 4th March 2008
- This is the first release for vBulletin 3.6.8 and 3.7
- Added navigation to AdminCP (below users)
- Added level statistics to AdminCP
- Added permission check for Rankings, using existing "canviewmembers" from memberlist
- Added Awards: Activity, Community, Posting. The best
- Added german and turkish translations
- Level up is now displayed not only as %, also the needed points are shown
- Smaller fixes

How to update?
Import product_vbexperience378.xml; extract all files from /upload/ to the server, overwrite all; revert vBExperience templates (if modified); copy all *.PHP files To see the new awards you have to run initially the cron "vBExperience Awards". To see new "Points needed" you have to recount via maintenance tools.

KURTZ 03-04-2008 09:14 AM

upgrade done!

edit: Phalynx i think is better if you move the ACP menu under the vBoptions ... anyway good job ;)

KURTZ 03-04-2008 09:31 AM

Phalynx another question i don't see the new avards ... how i can run the cron? :S

Phalynx 03-04-2008 09:31 AM

Go to scheduled tasks, search for "vBExperience Awards" and run manually.

KURTZ 03-04-2008 09:56 AM

yes i've overwrite all the files ... but nothing ... :(

also i do the recount, but the trouble is only in postbit cause it needs more space ... in the profile it's correct ...

Phalynx 03-04-2008 10:04 AM

Oh, I see - it's a wrong varname. Will be fixed in 3.7.9...

Can you run this query please?
Code:

select award_community from xperience_stats order by award_community desc
Do you get results with 3, 2, 1, 0, 0, 0, etc... ?

Problem solved.

KURTZ 03-04-2008 10:27 AM

another update?

PS. thx mate :)

Phalynx 03-04-2008 10:29 AM

That was a silent update to fix the not showing needed points in postbit. Just re-import product, no file changes else.

kfiasche81 03-04-2008 10:31 AM

can you create a function that allow to spend points on ibProArcade .. like this https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=153822

I don't think this will come soon. vBExperience is not vBCredits, it's not intendet as a cash/point system.

Please UPLOAD all files from /upload/ to server. Importing the product is not enough - I forget to mention that in my update message.
